Dolphins Sign Qb Jake Rudock

They’re going to have to bring in some young FAs. Cant rebuild a roster solely on draft picks. Rudock is 25 and was Matt Staffords backup in Detroit.

Im just tilted right now.

Would like to get a coach signed first before we start picking up used trash that we dont know will fit in our unknown system.

Wy are we picking up free agents if we are doing a ****ing rebuild?

Miami went from 1-15 to 11-5 so even if we are rebuilding this team could still stumble into 7 or 8 wins which would put you in the playoff mix if you can win a 9th game.

Anything is possible, you shouldn't not try to acquire talent especially at a position of major need and overall football important like DE. We want to not sack the QB because we are rebuilding? We were among the worst last season in sacks. Just get rid of Howard and Minkah too. We don't need a secondary if we are purposely not trying to get to the QB.

If we happen to get someone like Flowers that fills a need and speeds up the rebuild.

Flores is reported as being hired after the Pats lose and will hire Jim Caldwell as OC. I don’t think its a wild assumption to think Caldwell wants Rudock. It appears that everything may be agreed on but cant be announced. Of course just trying to connect the dots

Yes the same Caldwell who took over the Ravens offense mid season 2013 after Cam got fired and wears a Super Bowl ring from that season.

The same one who set-back WF program for a decade and then orchestrated the 2-14 suck for Luck campaign with the Colts?

You can board that train but Im taking a pass on a 63 yo who has not got it done anywhere except for a couple of years with Peyton Manning...and seriously...who couldn't have won with Manning?

1993 Wake Forest 2–9 1–7 9th
1994 Wake Forest 3–8 1–7 8th
1995 Wake Forest 1–10 0–8 9th
1996 Wake Forest 3–8 1–7 8th
1997 Wake Forest 5–6 3–5 7th
1998 Wake Forest 3–8 2–6 7th
1999 Wake Forest 7–5 3–5 5th W Aloha
2000 Wake Forest 2–9 1–7 8th
Wake Forest: 26–63 12–52
Total: 26–63

Question is...with a record like that how do you ever GET to the NFL level?

He went to Super Bowl with Manning then the next season lost Manning to injury and had to play with Curtis Painter hence the 2-14 season. I’m sure Lions fans would love him back after one season with Matt Patricia as well.

Easily the best OC the Dolphins have had in 25 years.

LMAO, we went out and got the mastermind of tanking a season to mentor our figurehead coach?

Or Ross thinks that Peyton benifitted from the greatest coaches in NFL history and would have sucked with out the likes of Gase and Caldwell. It would explain alot
