Dolphins sign WR Gerald Ford

In 2012, Ford (6-foot-3, 223 pounds, 4.52 40) was named the Gulf South Conference Offensive Player of the Year and helped lead Valdosta State to the Division II national championship. He had 52 catches for 836 yards and 12 touchdowns that season.

He was also the conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2010.

But he was academically ineligible in both the 2011 and 2013 seasons, so he hasn’t played a snap since the 2012 title game.

Ford could be an intriguing player for a spot on the practice squad but he’ll have to show that he has both the football ability and maturity to play in the NFL.

A long term project and maybe pratice squad material.

really must improve his footwork to play at the next level.

One my favorite SNL skits. Every time I think about Gerald Ford, I think about him being eaten by wolves.

Well this will be the only thread ever of him so lets please make it last.
He was pretty good at Michigan and has an impressive 40 time for his age.
Rumors of his death were greatly exaggerated. I think his health may be a concern.

He is #19 ...urghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!

As long as we don't get a WR named Jimmy Carter....that would be a nightmare.
