http://dailydolphin.blog.palmbeachp...-at-valdosta-state-signs-with-miami-dolphins/In 2012, Ford (6-foot-3, 223 pounds, 4.52 40) was named the Gulf South Conference Offensive Player of the Year and helped lead Valdosta State to the Division II national championship. He had 52 catches for 836 yards and 12 touchdowns that season.
He was also the conference’s Freshman of the Year in 2010.
But he was academically ineligible in both the 2011 and 2013 seasons, so he hasn’t played a snap since the 2012 title game.
Ford could be an intriguing player for a spot on the practice squad but he’ll have to show that he has both the football ability and maturity to play in the NFL.
For anyone REALLY curious..
