I just don’t like it.... It looks like Tua is favoring a side as he jogs.

Tua looking fluid in his running.

That dude had a major hip injury 8 months ago, for real? Miraculous

Lost in all the legitimate worry about him being injury prone is his remarkable recovery from a devastating hip injury.

I don't think anyone thought he would be ready for training camp when they carried him off that field.

The toughness and will to recover are impressive as hell.

If this kid can stay healthy....................................it is going to be like stealing Marino back in 83 all over again.

And we are due for a break like that too.

Not only has Tua had a miraculous recovery but so has our WR FA superstar Preston Williams..

Stars finally aligning for Miami.. Too bad the NE dynasty that just imploded had to unleash this Covid disease to prevent it from happening this year :D

Honestly, if the Dolphins were smart they'd mandate that every player wear masks the whole time. Even aside from the health standpoint--and when you're risking losing half your roster with one unknown carrier that is a real risk--the increased fitness levels it would push would be a real training advantage. Don Shula used to have 4 and 5 practices a day, not allow water or fans on the sidelines, and the practices were hell. The players complained constantly and called him very bad things that started with taskmaster and worked up from there. But then they went from a losing team to a winning team to a dominant team to an undefeated team, and in those interviews with the media as the all-conquering heros they all took credit for being the fittest team in the league, for having more stamina than the rest of the NFL in the 4th quarter, for not suffering from the physical fatigue that the other teams did because they were in much better shape, for keeping their bodies as temples. Their fitness levels were an extreme point of pride and increased productivity. They stopped calling Don Shula bad names, because they liked winnning.

Long story short, the new CBA that reduces padded practices to a laughable 14 a YEAR and eliminates 2-a-days and offseason mandatory activites, etc., etc., etc., is definitely better for the players quality of life. It is also definitely better for their longevity, as every actual NFL snap they take shortens their career, so playing 1 game a year would maximize their career length. But there needs to be a balance and right now it has swung strongly in the players favor. One of the few ways to have a more fit team right now is to make mask-wearing mandatory, and in this Florida heat, that will get those guys in shape faster than anything else. And people puke in training camp every year ... it would prevent projectiles as well ... just need a healthy supply of extra masks available.

I realize this may not be a popular post, but being more fit is a real advantage in a league where the teams are so closely matched. Not succumbing to a wide-spread plague that cuts through your starting lineup is a big advantage in a season full of potential pitfalls. IMHO, this is a no-brainer requirement that the Dolphins should make ... unless the league has declared it illegal to mandate for some inexplicable reason.
