Let's talk about the game. I'm going with the assumption we will have most of our starting OL back in. Expect Miami to really run the ball really well since weather may play a factor. Current forecast calling for light rain and around 50 F. Not sure if they will have the roof closed or not. Obviously Hill wants to have a huge game, must hope Miami doesn't force him the ball. What's everyone's take on this game?

Miami 34-27

Madden simulation can't be wrong. Not mine, just found it.

If there is rain, I hope they close the roof. I have nightmares of that rainy game against the Titans at the end of the Flores era. Tua didn't play well in the weather, and I'm sure his confidence was at an all-time low, given all we have learned about his relationship with Flores.

Question, did Tua ever play in the light rain (not tropical rain that we get) at Bama? How did he do?

I actually watched that this morning too.... I'm hanging on every play like the friggin thing is a real game. I got real issues.

This 10 QB-pass catcher list was done by NextGenStats leading into week 8, but I found the comparison interesting heading into this game. It's nice to see our combo has the most expected points added.
I don't have any stats to support it, but I think we struggle against TEs. I hope we are able to find a way to limit Kelce. Any thoughts on which defender we could use and how we would do this?

This is a winnable game for us. KC isn't super human like they've been in years past. Our defense has to focus on stopping Kelce at all costs and challenge the rest of offense to beat us. Our offense has to do what they do best. If we play a smart game, keep the penalties to a minimum, and can stay healthy from start to finish, we can win this one and take over the #1 seed in the AFC.

We will open some eyes this week. And the story won't be our offense, it will be our defense. KC has ZERO WRs and that is going to destroy their chances this week and ultimately will be the reason KC can't win a Superbowl this year.

I think we have as good a chance as any. Would love to shake up the narratives about us, that we can't beat "good teams". I would feel a lot differently if this game was at Arrowhead but the neutral site helps us tremendously. I do expect Mahomes to play better than he did vs Denver though.

They have a few young guys that are on the come-up...particularly Rice, and Valdes-Scantling can make some plays. And they have Kelce...which is massive. I want our guys to lay some wood on that ****er, get him thinking about reaching out to make a catch and what that'll mean for his ribs.

As long as Kelce's in and playing well, they can beat anybody, IDC who their receivers are.

Didn't stop them last year...
