Dolphins Waiver Claims/Signings/Practice Squad

If we wanted a developmental qb, I would have traded a 7th for Barkley. I suppose Lazor knows Barkley so maybe he's not pounding the table for him? Or is he being overruled?

I like barkley too...i would have cut matt moore for him...although i guess it doesnt much matter miami could put any teams backup qb out there or teams cut and be done without tannehill

Thats why i say go the cheapest route possible

Per source, the Dolphins plan on using Logan Thomas at quarterback. No funky moves to tight end or wide receiver as has been suggested.

The dawn of the 2-pt PAT specialist?

So basically no upgrades, status quo.

Sanchez is the best backup qb in the league based on last seasons numbers. I have him as #25 qb in the league which is awesome for a backup. Barkley had no shot of beating him out.

Project at guard. Was a solid OT for USC, got moved, stunk it up, then got hurt. Has all the physical tools but many have questioned his work ethic.

Hey why not? If ya have one position to find an acorn in, Guard is a good choice.

he was with us the whole time

Besides Brenner, confirmed Fins also resigned Semisch, Stoneburner, Cedric Thompson, A. Walker to practice squad.

Matt Barkley just ain't the kinda athlete we're lookin for @QB.

Seriously, I can smell nice new pig options being cooked up in Davie!

True story.

Im glad we got cedric thompson back...but he needs to tackle next year like a safety and not a corner...walt aikens has improved in that regard but its still not at the secure safety level it needs to be

I can see some missed tackles there shortly in our future

This kid is 6'6 and bowls through players when he runs watching some of his highlights, Pat White looked like a rag doll out there on the field.

Stop it! Patty White played a fine game! She was just a bit outgunned.

Figure we'll hold on to either Deandre Coleman or Anthony Johnson . . . expecting at least one of those guys to be resigned to the PS. Of course we have 3 LB's that were cut, and again, I expect at least one of them back. Also need a tackle prospect in the mix.

I think it would be a mistake to pass on signing anyone of Christion Jones, Anthony Johnson, Nick Moody, Anthony Chickillo, Jordan Tripp, Mike Hull, Barrett Jones or Durell Eskridge.
