Sounds like we're one of several teams that want him in for a visit. Imagine him next to Suh.

He's one of the guys I was hoping we'd bring in. Because with his back issues he could be a great get on a prove it deal. If his market starts falling into that $5M range you pounce.

Can you imagine a goal-line stand with Suh, Phillips, and Poe as tackles over the guards and center, with Wake and Hayes over the OT's? That is some serious meat and potatoes up front!
 
He's boom or bust, even on a 1 year deal. Bennie Logan is looking for a 1 year deal as well, he's the safer bet...but gambling on Poe would be a nice plan B

"Jason LaCanfora of CBS Sports reports that Poe has his first visit of free agency scheduled with the Colts on Sunday. He adds that the Dolphins, Raiders, Falcons and Jaguars have also shown interest in having Poe in for a visit, but there are plenty of cases where a player never leaves his first stop."
 
Don't know how or where we'd find the money but this would be big. KC wanted to keep Poe but couldn't afford him plus Berry (and they probably got their priorities right).
 
I would like them 2 sign DE Datone Jones & DT Hankins or DT Logan. At least 2 of these guys.
