Dolphins Willing To Eat Salary In Robert Quinn Trade - Visiting Cowboys

I am mixed as I like Quinn but in the bigger picture of things, does he fit the plan of a re-build over the long run? He is an expensive one year player and I am not sure if he would sign an affordable contract for an additional 3 years? They could use the lack of interest by other teams with Quinn and try to negotiate a longer term deal. I think he would be a good stop gap while the team tries to get younger talent.

The other point I think is worth noting is the discussion of the poor pass rush by the fins last year. Is it the quality of players or was it the poor defensive coaching we saw from Matt Burke, who is Philly's Defensive Special Assistant (what is that position).

Burke's defense was certainly not a help.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in a hybrid, see if they can move him around a bit.

I called it. I forget what thread I posted in but I called a 2020 3.

Calling it and getting it...
The only way I can see a third is if we eat a lot of his salary, or you get two teams that really want him, and they know we won't be releasing him. I would be very happy if we got a third.

Get a 5th and move on if he's not a scheme fit (although a restructure as a specialist would still be cool)

Quinn visits N.O. Monday and,

"Coach Sean Payton and General Manager Mickey Loomis won’t be in New Orleans, "

Ahhh OK..

Get it done! I need some good news. At home tiling my bathroom and in a foul mood.

Hang in there, brother. We remodeled our bathroom last year. I was frustrated as hell for 2 weeks.

Only accept a 4th or better. We have no one outside of Quinn at DE and someone will get desperate sooner or later.

He can fit in the new and improved scheme, even if it's just as a pass rusher in sub packages which are the real base now days anyway.
