Dolphins Workout WR Braylon Edwards

Sign him. Why not? Either he shows he can bring something to the table or he will be cut before training camp is over.

I have no problem with some veterans coming in here and using the team for a season to try and revive their careers. The great thing about our draft is its potential, but its going to take time for them to show that potential.

Let a few vets come in here and fight for some roster spots. If they dont make it, no big deal. If they do, they can help us for a year or two then move on. At the moment, band-aids arent the worse thing in the world....so long as they arent counted on to completely fix the wound.

ehhh...another big mouth more bark than bite wr...kick the tires...whatever....it's not like brian hartline is anything special fully healthy

Frankly, Hartline as our #1 doesn't make my toes tingle..and now that he is hurt, and recovering from surgery..we have a huge hole there.
I would be happier if we signed Wallace, but I think we will end up with Edwards.
We should just use our young WR's and hope that one or two of them can make some plays..

@ArmandoSalguero just posted in his blog the Dolphins have serious interest in signing free agent WR Braylon Edwards.

i wonder how far down the depth chart matthews and cunningham are...i was hoping one of them could emerge as a viable nfl caliber player...i haven't hearda peep...and with this unit you'd think we would have by now...doesn't bode well

To me, this says that the coaches don't really have that sense of rebuilding this year. It sounds more like they feel they can truly compete in this division this year. I don't think you waste the time and money of you don't truly believe there is a shot.

no thanks

Get rid of a cancer that drops balls and is actually good, pick up a cancer that drops balls, and sucks. Makes sense.

I think the interest in soap hands may have to do the our lack of a deep threat as gates must not be impressing. He's a better choice than Plexi glass, we already have more than our fair share of possession WR's. We need someone who can stretch the field.

More competition but Braylon is the epitome of diva reciver. Doesn't fit Philbin's mold of WRs that he likes.
