He called the plays for one of the worst offenses in the league last year. A running offense at that. How exciting. Just another loser head coach to add to a franchise that's been full of them.
 
Ughh....

Its obvious McCoy is who he thinks will be the next head coach.

He doesnt say it as though he has some kind of inside information.....

Still a lame reason not to give a new guy a chance. The past is the past. Could it become the same as usual, of course, but just as much, he could be a good coach and get this team turned around. Wait and see. But that is the logical thing to do, and we don't want that. I'm sure everybody would appreciate being judged the same way at work.

I get it. All we have to look at is resumes and with first time coaches you never know......and yes, you could be a good coordinator and a god awful coach (Cammy). However, usually you have to be good as a coordinator to even get a shot, and McCoy is not even that.

Same thing they said about McCarthy. Point is, situations are different, personnel is different, a guy's freedom is different when he is HC. Too many variables from team to team to pigeonhole guys based on what they did under other coaches, with sub-par talent. Who would off guessed the Broncos had a chance in hell of even making the playoffs?

Let's get it right. They had to run this year. Before this year he had a top half passing attack. So we can't say we know his preferences. Any good coaches uses both, his preferences and what his personnel dictates that he can do. League's best running game isn't a bad thing. He made what he could out of the lemons they had. You have no clue how McCoy might do yet...or Philbin for that matter.

clayton just said on espn dolphins may decide by friday and mike mccoy is favorite depending on how todays interview went...... But Mike Mccoy is clearly the favorite......

i agree with this, what makes this guy qualified? nothing, denver has sucked *** for the last 5-7 years and we are taking one of there crappy assistants while we have joe philibin who sat under mccarthy for years under a dominant franchise and can also lure flynn/packers staff to miami and we are taking this loser from denver. Il be watching the hurricanes next season, until the dolphins get a real head coach like jimmy johnson/shula/gruden i am done watching this garbage.
