Well said, Junc. Having a Hall of Fame qb and coach is hard to beat.Miami, Buf and NYJ have been drafting to try to beat NE for a long time. It's not easy and won't be until #12 retires.

..IN THE INTRO "these two teams know each other very well because they have drafted to beat each other." To me that was a very big statement, because i believe that is what Miami needs to do. They need to draft to beat New england, and eventually win the division and who knows be in the superbowl. These two team did exactly the same in three year and they're both playing in back to back sb. Remember when Miami used to get killed by buffalo and they Shula draf in 91-92 basically puts and to that ? Whatever happens to those days ?
We did draft to beat the Patriots....then we went ahead and lost to the Bills and Jets when we had the playoffs in our grasp. We are just not an elite team at the moment, and the draft isn't going to make us that. We need Tannehill to turn into a monster, we need a running game of some sort, and we need a defense that won't ***** out after being put in a tough spot.
so when the broncos shred seattle everyone is gonna want a heavy passing game smh

if you can't draft good players, then drafting the right types/positions for your division is not really the immediate issue. I don't care if Bruce Smith is not in our division, I would still draft Richmond Webb. Ireland couldn't find Richmond Webb if Webb was his conjoined twinI TOTALLY agree. It is something I harp upon. Make moves to match your division. Miami has not and pays the price each year.
So our entire division is made up of cold weather teams and most playoff games are outside in the cold. You have to be able to run the football. I think the Philbin/GB system that over-emphasizes the passing game hurt our teams chances of success. Run the ball and then work off of play action.
