Edds is a Patriot

Not even a better coach...

Say what you want about Belichick, but he's a damn fine football coach.

He's not the genious most make him out to be, but his defensive mind is beyond most. It's on par with Lebeau.

of course he is a pat, seems like every lb we release they pick up

And if you want to be more specific, its his system that is outrageously better then everyone elses. He has a system for everything.I cant stand him for it, hate that he is so good at what he does and gets away with alot.

And for the record i think it was a huge mistake to let Edds go, man has talent and is a work horse. I dont care where he stood on the depth chart. Coming back from that injury takes longer then has ellapsed. Edds is the type of player you wait for and develop. This regimes system of just letting go of young drafted player immediately is horrid. Its like they are afraid to try and develop someone.

We don't know this LB much. Can he play?
BB has made some moves in the past 2 days that have some scratching their heads.
I think he may want to just upgrade our least talented LB.

Well, his "system" is to adapt to whatever offense he's facing. "Take away their best weapon" and all that. He did it against the Bills in '90, he did it against the Rams in '01, he did it plenty against the Colts (until they became more balanced and he couldn't stop them easily), and he's done it against countless other teams.

About the only time he loses a matchup is by either being woefully undertalented, or getting caught completely off guard.

Now we have "players with upside" who poured milk in your cereal bowl??

For some people, everyone we let go has upside. Everyone we pick up is a dud.

Then again, in this particular case, I do agree he was a player with upside. The team raved about him and picked him up early enough. It's just weird they're passing him up for what is, at the moment, a lesser quality player.

.. Well...****. He'll just tear out any information he has and then toss him aside. It would suck if Edds ended up being another one of Belichick's diamond in the roughs, but i doubt it.
