Like reading your posts, along with Slim, CK and others and while they may not always turn out to be the crystal ball that you guys might predict thats OK by me especially if they work out in our favor. I certainly hope your right about RT and West Virginia is wrong cause the QB stirs the drink and we have not had one since Marinio. RT gotta learn to slide feet first this year though. Its not over yet but I certainly was betting that Hickey was in over his head with the phins when this season started and its certainly good to see his picks and free agents making a bigger impact than I anticipated cause I am sure tired of rebuilding and us being a sub par team the past 15 plus years.

Yep...even the pros/experts miss their fair share of "sure thing" impact draftees. Nobody hits 'em all.

So when you evaluate, analyze, and predict a TON of players, you're bound to miss on a bunch. That said, there's a few people on this and other boards who are more accurate than others.

what % did the best get right? not a real high # I would guess, Jimmy Johnson went from genius to idiot(in my mind). Someone like Bill Pollian(my gold standard) we think only of the hits and not the misses

Never like to see anyone lose their job, but this guy literally had 9 lives in the Ireland regime. If they didn't give him so many chances to do something, I'd feel worse for him, but he just was one of those guys that just didn't have it. Best to move on and experiment with someone who could pan out to something.
