Empty Stadium

Watching the game, the stadium looks very empty. In fact, I went to the first Carolina Pathers preseason game and from what I see, it looks like there were more people there.

Seems sad to me. Were I close enough, or even had the money to fly down each week, I would always be there, win or lose.

You are so full of it. Buy some glasses.

The stadium was fine. If you were seeing just camera shots here and there would be hard to judge because there was a lot of up and down with people getting drinks etc.

Game is sold out because corporate sponsors purchase the remaining tickets...not because the Dolphins sold out to the public and put asses in seats.

Every game i've attended that is considered also a sell out feels like a sell out, yet on tv those same games have people talk **** about the attendance. A lot of people 1) get there late, 2) hang out in the breeze way, 3) leave to get food/take a ****, etc.

I've been to enough games at the old Orange Bowl and Joe Robbie to know that all of the above is true. Same applies to the Miami Heat during the LeBron era.

Plus, Miami operates on Cuban Standard Time.

CST is a legitimate time zone, my friend.

After we made it 17-20 we were loud. One of the loudest I saw =]

I considered going, but I'm not going to pay 75 bucks a pop for myself and my wife (who doesn't even like football) for nosebleed seats, plus parking and overprice concessions which is going to make the outing about $200. I've considered making the 4 hour drive (both ways) and buying tickets if the price were lower, but I won't pay that much for a game. I take the same approach to concert ticket prices, for the record.

Some forms of entertainment in this country have taken the approach of charging an exorbitant amount for tickets where even if that excludes a certain percentage of their potential fans, they will still make their money because enough people will pay that ticket price that they will still make money. It's not a Dolphins organization thing, it's everywhere.

I've really wanted to go to a game, but with so little disposable money, I have to pick and chose what I want to do. If I could find affordable tickets, I'd be there.

the stadium is in opa locka which is a horrific neighborhood'

its outdoors

the dolphins have been terrible for like 10 yrs now
easy to figure out why its empty

at least we have our own stadium and dont have to share it with another team (wink winK
lol and what does metlife stadium or the jets have to do with any of this?

i didnt say anything 80% of the dolphins fanbase doesnt agree with

they need to build a new stadium in a normal neighborhood in broward or palm beach county and far away from the slum of opa locka

It was full at kickoff. ...not everyone broils in their seat the entire game. They head for some shade, beers, food.

If you win they will come.....

hmmm I think the Marlins did that.... philosophy didn't work...

That said, the stadium looked good on TV... and with the right Colors. Can't Wait to see how it looks in January 2015
