Empty Stadium

I was there. It was more Miami colors than pats. It was ****ing awesome today.
We bullied them all day. Just simply awesome.

I was there and the stadium was easily 90% filled!

hmmm I think the Marlins did that.... philosophy didn't work...

That said, the stadium looked good on TV... and with the right Colors. Can't Wait to see how it looks in January 2015

Really? The Marlins won a World Series then alienated their entire fan base by trading everything but the mascot. They won a second and within two years had done the same again. They opened a new stadium, and did the same again less than a year after its grand opening. Despite two championships in a short timeframe, the Marlins are certainly on the shortlist of worst run organizations in sports.

If you weren't at the game then STFU. How can you complain while your sitting on your couch. They won... Be happy

slow down and read what you are replying to...
The Marlins built a new stadium and NO ONE Comes... (i.e. build it and they will come does not work in this scenario ) and it is sits on sacred land.
Steve Ross should buy that mess out right, gut it out and put a foot ball field in there.

i had tickets for 4 years, my dad had tickets for years before that...1 oclock games are brutal in miami...

now i am in orlando, and if tickets we 38 bucks the way they were back when i bought them id be interested in going but im not going for 60 bucks a ticket in the upper deck on the hot side and 6 dollar bottles of water...(YES READ THAT AGAIN 6 dollars for a bottle of water that prevents you from having heat stroke at that 100 degree game)...especially when i have to drive 5 hours...

in short, miami has to make it more appealing for me to go there than sit on my couch and the current price of tickets is the 1st thing that needs to be fixed before i go

It was announced before the season started that the first 3 home games were sellouts. OP posts this at halftime which leads to us ti

It was full at kickoff. ...not everyone broils in their seat the entire game. They head for some shade, beers, food.

...This, the Heat index was 103 degrees, that is insanely hot, and there is no shade in the stands.

Why do you think Ross is having that canopy built?

There's nothing unsafe about that neighborhood for dolphin games, and the location is the best available. Why don't you go to panther games? They have a nice little stadium right there in sunrise? Why? because they don't win! I don't hear much talk about how the neighborhood near the triple A sucks, Why?

Another thing to add, it's very convenient for you out of out of town fans to complain, well considering that very few people here in ft Lauderdale didn't believe the dolphins would or could win this game. If they did, the stadium would be standing room only, as its been at whatever points the Franchise has been successful, basically between 1970 to around 2003 with very few bad seasons sprinkled in.

I haven't been around quite since 1970 but many have , they witnessed a dynasty, then super bowls with woodstrock, Dan Marino, even into the Jimmy Johnson years, when the second round of the playoffs was basically where they got embarrassed

And then there was the last 12 years where we've been a bottom five-ten franchise who won a division tiltle the one year Brady was injured.

Logo changes, constant losing, tickets prices, the heat blah blah, win and were in, hey if not there are a million other things to do on a Sunday in ft Lauderdale.

Oh and to the Jet fan I respect you because if your a Jet fan like my brother you'll watch those goddam Jets every week knowing that they can't win, because they never have, how many division titles have the jets won, maybe 2? And then the ultimate jet fantasy, Sanchize, wow 2 conference championships then 2 years later, buttfumble. But even this year with geno and vick, you'll sit and think your going somewhere, and I can always count on well hey we ain't winning a super bowl this year, but we all know the jets ain't either.

If you can't stand the heat... well, thanks for my possible upgrade in season tix.

I love the 1pm time slot. ****in love it. September is our time for a home field advantage.

Its a shame Florida bullet train project was cancelled. We could have gotten more Dolfans in from Orlando.

There were some empty seats in the nose bleed section. The attendance was 70,200 I believe. This shot looks like it's full and it was loud.
