yes but after the first year we were 11-5..... if you went 11-5 after going 9-7 the year before with MARINO, wouldn't be a little more optimistic on the guy? hindsight is 20/20. It probably wasn't a good idea to start him that long, but don't be bashing the guy right off the bat.
