Ereck Flowers

Agree... looked really bad when it happened.

Also agree -- give it some time.

But Big Fish swam right over to his spot and did a solid!

In fact I thought Big Fish looked a tad slimmer?

Anyone else see that?
Who's Big Fish? Kindley?
From what I saw, maybe Flowers should be backup.

From whT

Back in 70s he would have spit and rubbed some mud on it and kept playing...lol
I hope he plays against KC.
We will need everyone

we might be able to get a full bag of recyclable cans for Deiter? I'd take it...
Dude!

The Deiter will not be de-turd nor de-railed!

My sources confirm "he's focused." Coherent. And ambulatory!

Working out 4-times a week. 12 eggs and bran flakes for breakfast.

Raw clams and kobe lama for dinner! Dude! He's serious!

Don't discount the Deiter!

>>> did you see how good he looked on the sidelines last game!

:pbj:

When Flowers left game, why didn't Davis just replace him? They move Kindly to left guard and Davis to right. You would think it would have been Davis, being the veteran and he plays all 4 positions (I think)

My guess would be the coaching staff thought this way was a better option?

I mean what kind of answer are you looking for?

This is a redicilous post. Dieter is our back up C/G. He is a 3rd round Oline pick in his second year with no off season.

Have you seen him play?

One can only hope. He looked awful last year.

I don't know about awful. But definitely like a rookie.

My hope is -- he's the type of player that needs to be developed

and simply wasn't NFL ready last season but basically forced into

live action ------- remember how BAD our OL was, right?

Hard to shine at all in that environment as a rookie.

I’ve never seen Guards who play that poorly in their rookie season amount to much, but who knows, maybe he’ll get better. Flowers was a bust a tackle, but they moved him inside and he became ok As a guard. Dieter has nowhere to move to. Maybe he’ll get better, but he sure looked like a bust to me last year. He reminds me of Dallas Thomas. Hope I’m wrong, but it matters not, we can Draft some more talent on the Oline and get some more competition going there.

From PFF last year: “Michael Deiter, meanwhile, spent his rookie season at left guard last year, and he finished with the fifth-worst grade in the league at 42.5.”

And it was obvious, he looked horrible.
