Eric Ebron vs. Tre Mason

Even though Clay is 6,3 and Hartline is 6,2 I've never seen either of them run a corner route then go up and get the ball against any db. Please post if I missed anything. I realize we have more pressing needs, but I believe having a player on this team that can do that equals more touch downs and less field goal by a pretty good margin.

Ebron would be a rz nightmare

No implication on my behalf on replacing Clay, just saying that I see no need for another TE in the first round. I would go DT in Nix, Donald or Hageman.

I see a need for another playmaker on offense. Ebron fits the bill. That being said, there are several direction on both sides of the ball that I would be good with. Simply no need to reach for a specific position.

I'd love to draft CJ Mosley and remove Wheeler.

Even though I think if he gets to the teens he'll be taken by the Jets, but if he's there and we take martin or Lewan I'll be pissed.

CJ Mosley would be sick. Ellerbe and wheeler are hard to watch. I believe linebacker is just as pressing of a need as o line. That being said I think Shayne Skove would be an instant upgrade that could start right away and could be had later in the draft.

Give me Mason. Either would be, very nice.

Doesn't matter, a lot of the passes Tanny threw that Clay couldn't quite come down with a 6'5 Ebron would easily snag.

Clay if Miami drafts Ebron, would be a matchup nightmare in the slot and out the backfield.

You're assuming that the 6'4' Ebron, an inch taller, is gonna be a star. Clay already is. I have nothing against the guy but, have to go DT in the first over him.

Ebron if available. Got to concentrate on offensive BPA throughout the draft. Just keep enough of the core D together and use some FA. Short term this D will be OK but we have to get out of this offensive malaise that is ... well I don't know, nearly 15 years running.

I'd much rather go this route.

RD 1 - Highest rated G or T

RD 2 - Carlos Hyde

RD 3 - Shayne Skov

RD 4 - C.J Fiedorowicz

RD 5 - BPA DT, T, G or S

RD 7 - BPA DT, T, G or S

Assuming we grab some O-Line help in FA, this would be perfect to me.

I like Ebron a lot, but I really doubt he is there at 19 and I feel that this draft actually offer several other TE options that can be had in later rounds.

I'm not a "draft a RB high" kind of guy....decent RB's are a dime a dozen and can be found through out the draft, O-line on the other hand will have a greater impact on both the running and passing game. So I vote neither....

I believe anytime you have a chance to draft a playmaker that can score TD's you should go for it. Specially in the first round. You can fill needs later on but you dn't take the 9th best OT in the draft at 19 when his value is n round 2. Need to stop with the mentality that you can pass on a TE just cause you can get one later. Ireland did that and then we'd end up with nothing. All this should be academic if Ireland had just drafted Graham or Gronk but hey, lets just wait to draft a playmaker later, I'm sure that the other teams will leave the player we want for us to take.

Ozzy rules!!
