ESPN: Cards and Broncos Favorites... FML

if free agency opens without a manning visit set up prepare for a matt flynn visit to south beach...unless ireland is just gonna hold out til manning makes a decision in which case you could be out on both your free agent options if you tell flynn to wait...

i still say at the end of all this flynn will be the qb in miami in 2012...
 
i feel like we have qb on roster they just donot want give guy chance

I could care less about who the media deems as the favorite. What I'm worried about is that there is no firm meeting set up with us. We all knew that he would be in Denver on Friday and AZ on Saturday. We have heard nothing about a firm date to meet with us. Why schedule the first two and not the third??

That's a good point. Nobody was sure he was even going to visit Arizona until he got there. This story changes by the minute. The bottom line is nobody knows for sure what's going to happen. It's all a guessing game at this point.

very possible...although i don't think price is the problem in this at all...all three of us would open the wallets wide...problem for us imo is in the instability of the front office and frankly the perception of ross imo as coming off as disengenuine...the sparano handling the harbaugh handling the stuff he says to the media at times just comes across as a jerk...these massive ego qbs head coaches etc they all want you to give em the reach around and if you come off as more about buying their affection they see through it...


i hope like hell ross keeps his mouth shut and these guys don't screw this up...just put it out there on the table tell manning yes on everything he asks and then let the chips fall where they may...you try and strong arm manning and he's gone i guarantee you that...so give the guy what he wants and get it done and if in the end he walks away you gave it your all...just don't leak out any dumb stuff after he walks should he that makes you look like an ***hole...
 
He never scheduled the Arizona meeting ahead o ftime, where did you get that misconception? Remember they were saying he's not going to leave Denver and all that noise? They only found out about the Arizona meeting after he was already there and it had already started. Why do you think the media has any info reliable or not of where Peyton is going to next? They didn't before Arizona ( or Denver for that matter)

RIDICULOUS! The article says that the Broncos' advantages include Manning's relationship with Elway and the fact that they are in the AFC! The fact that they are in the AFC?!?! Like Manning just noticed the Broncos are in the AFC??? Or Manning doesn't have a relationship with Dan Marino or any other former players?

It also cites the fact that the Cards are favorites because Manning PLAYS GOLF WITH WHISENHUNT. Doesn't he play gold with Marino? And didn't they just say he prefers the AFC???

There is nothing in this article that offers any real insight into Manning's decision-making process. This timeline is unfolding exactly as we thought it would, giving Miami a chance to speak with him last. When Manning finally does make a decision, he might not end up picking the Dolphins, but it's not going to be for any of the reasons reported in this pathetic article.

I think Rev Kev nailed it on the head. These reporters are clueless. No way would Peyton Manning express his intentions to anyone. Peyton is keeping this close to the vest. The only other person who may have a clue is his agent. Has anyone actually confirmed that the Dolphins reached out to Peyton to schedule a meeting. I have read that they have and have not. Maybe fins are not interested....

we knew he was headed to denver and arizona with less than a 24 hour notice. so i assume this will be the case when he meets with the dolphins. keep your britches on , he will meet with the dolphins.

It was widely reported that Manning would meet with the Broncos on Friday and the Cardinals on Saturday. Guess what???? They both happened.
