QUARTERBACKS (2)

Keeping three quarterbacks may be tough this year with so many good players at other positions. Will Pat Devlin stay over an extra offensive lineman or wide receiver?

RUNNING BACKS (4)


Moreno looks closer to coming back from his knee injury. Time is running out for him to challenge Miller for the starting job before Week 1 of the regular season.

RECEIVERS (6)


This is one of the deepest areas of the team. Miami could consider trading a player like Armon Binns, who is on the roster bubble but is good enough to help another team.

TIGHT ENDS (3)


I'm starting to think Miami could keep four tight ends. But I'm still keeping rookie Arthur Lynch on the outside since he's practice-squad eligible.

OFFENSIVE LINEMEN (9)


The Dolphins failed at mixing and matching centers with Smith, Garner and Brenner. So they signed veteran Satele to bring stability to an unstable group.

DEFENSIVE LINE (8)


This is a deep area, even with Dion Jordan's suspension. No issues here.

LINEBACKERS (7)


Keep an eye on undrafted rookie McCain. The outside linebacker can play.

CORNERBACKS (5)


Taylor and Davis have been making plays, which is great news for the Dolphins.

SAFETIES (5)


Jones is a new addition this week. His special-teams ability may be too good to pass up.

SPECIALISTS (3)


You can pencil in this trio for the regular season right now.
 
No pouncey and do we have 2 Damien Williams on the team? One at RB and wr
 
Replace Daniel Thomas with Gillislee. Replace Egnew with Lynch. And replace Damien or Damian Williams, doesn't matter which, with Hoskins.
 
What's the point of keeping Brenner? If Satale is starting and Garner is the backup we really need a third center, especially one that the team obviously doesn't think is good enough to play.

Hoskins hasn't done squat so far...both Williams have...
 
i think he's got the 5 corners and 5 safeties...jalil brown seems to have fell off the map since the pads came on that's good for will davis...don jones for specials and michael thomas on the 53 makes sense...

i still think it's 4 tight ends unless this offense uses two in sets less than i expect it to...

if they keep 6 wides williams probably is the guy cause of the returns...i think it's a mistake personally but whatev...hopefully we never have to give him any wr run in games due to health issues

the 7 lbs he picked seems right...last one on trusnick...
 
Arthur Lynch will make the roster. We didn't draft him in the 5th round to face the risk of losing him on the Practice Squad.
Interesting that Freeny isn't on Walker's list. I think he's vulnerable too. Kovacs will also push Don Jones all the way. I'll back Jordan Kovacs to take the roster spot.

Maybe its because I'm a fan but imo Hoskins has been having a good camp, I've seen his name come up often, he has a few TD grabs, and he gets some time with the ones every so often.
 
I think TE Lynch and TE Hoskins instead of TE Egnew and C Brenner.
Gillislee RB instead of Williams RB

5 CBs and 5 S seems like too many rather keep 1 more DL or TE.

Didnt know you thought brown might have a shot at surplanting will Davis. Davis balls out in practice we saw that last year we see it this year. I know you don't think Davis is any good but I see too much potential to cut him in only his 2nd season. His ball skills are unmatched. I see a good player in davis. Cbs don't have to be physical anymore. In fact they are discouraged by therefs

Not sure about that. Didn't Walt Aikens get moved to safety?

Damian Williams is going to have to ball out in preseason for me to keep him on the 53 regardless of return ability. He's heading into his 5th season and doesn't have any upside IMO. I would keep Binns based on size alone.

I would keep 5 of each for sure. You've got Finnegan who hasn't stayed healthy in two years and Delmas who has a history of being injured. The extra guys are insurance.
 
I can see Fede taking a spot from Francis or Johnson, and then moving to the practice squad when Jordan comes back.
 
you need those extra dbs for specials...don jones and thomas...i don't see any way this team would cut aikens as a rookie so i don't think it matters what they carry him as...only other corner that could have a shot is brown but it doesnt sound like he's showing anything...

there's probably what 12 guys who are on the bubble in camp...it's not that many...15 max that they are looking at

True and Jimmy Wilson is still the nickel corner as far as I know and Thomas has also gotten run in the nickel.
