Don't believe everything you think.

There's more to this than the football side. For instance, if we can put up a few more wins with the "best player" (whomever that is), then maybe we can possibly get a prime time game next year, as an example. More exposure brings in more revenue, as does more wins. From an owner's standpoint, that's good business-sense, and may be what Wayne is expecting from Saban. However, on the flip side, if playing Feeley is like an investment for the future (i.e., we play him to determine what we have, make him better, etc.) we may end up with a better team in the future -- thus risk losing money to bring in money in the future.
Again, I'm torn on the "right" way (which is why I'm not a businessman). But my point is that I believe that it's more than just a on the field football issue.
I see your point and I've got the business sense of a dog but, I would think the long term success of the team would trump any short term success.
Short term success is unstable, it comes and goes, long term success is more stable and ensures longer periods of higher revenue.
Did I say that??
I can see that there may be the pressure from Wayne that you brought up so , that probably is something to consider.
Thank you for giving it some thought and not just saying they both suck. :)
