FINAL SCORE: Dolphins V Ravens (week 2)

I believe we can win but to say we're going to score in the 30's is really out there. I can’t see the offense going from 13 points at home to high scoring at Baltimore. I don’t predict scores and we need to see who plays and who doesn’t. Our offense will need time to click and if you take away both of our OT's, specially Arsmtead and that makes it even harder.

Only reason I disagree with the 30, is this.

I believe we win. But I also believe we score over 30 because we have to.

Each offensive drive will have a different significance in this game.

NE we knew the Dolphins were in control early in the game.

With Baltimore. I don't think we will have that same feeling until Sanders kicks the game winning field goal with 4 seconds left and we win 31-30

This should be a hard game for anyone that’s being objective to try and predict.

I honestly have no idea if we’re going to win this one.

I’m terrified of the Ravens running game. If we had more physical thumpers at the LB position I’ve feel better. Roberts is kinda the only guy and he’s severely limited if the play is t coming striaght at him.

Baker is a glorified SS in the box.

Ravens can be a very physical team upfront and run with command.

NE to some degree kinda showed were vunerable to the run

Force Miami out of those dime/nickel packages.

Argh..I HATE picking against my team. I hope they prove they have enough to pull this off.

But

Baltimore 27-14
Really, why? Dobbins is just coming back from a knee injury and second in line is Kenyan Drake.

Jackson, I guess.

I'm more worried about Andrews. He's Jackson's safety blanket and would probably be talked about with Kelce and Kittle, if he had a better QB.
Andrews got the most targets last week, I expect the same. I believe this team will have a plan for him. Never had the same faith in the slow starting teams of the last two years

Yes.

Regardless of what anyone thinks about Jackson as a QB, he is lethal with his legs.

You can shut him down passing all game, all it takes is 1 Elandon Robert's overpursuit or 1 Baker missed tackle and he just scored a 60 yard rushing TD

This is ultimately what made that game last year so impressive.

I don't trust our lbers against guys like Allen, Jackson and Herbert.

Which I'd why I am still a huge advocate for Roquan Smith lol

wow, again, going from 13 points at home on week one to scoring 4 TD's or more on week two just doesn’t seem realistic for this offense. The talent is there but I think it's going to take time for them to gel. I see many people predicting 28 and into the 30's and that's a big leap. In order for that to happen our defense would have to get off the field instead of allowing long time consuming drives and the offense would have to really be clicking. Hard task but I hope they can do it.

Ya and if they play that same defense against a team like the Bills and Bengals they will get torched. They need to play more aggressive against the better QB's or they will get shredded.

No, every time we have used the 0 against a good QB (minus Lamar funny enough) we have been the ones shredded.

Good point. It's not just about the offense clicking.

The defense can't be giving up 3rd and 12s. They need to get off the field.

That's how 7 drives a game can turn into 12-13.

Also, a nice long bomb to Hill or Waddle is a way to get another offensive drive as well lol.

The reason I see the jump, honestly. This is the week I believe we see atleast 2 deep connections for either 50+yard TDS or gains.

I think MCD knows he needs to score this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if the mentality is " I don't care if it's an INT, or incomplete. I don't care if Hill is triple covered. Throw it up there and let's see what happens"

With a guy like Hill you can do that, especially early. If you fail, well, you still have 3 quarters left and in theory the INT is just as far, maybe better than a punt lol

I like this a lot. I think taking some deep shots with Hill, successful or not, could open up the running game.
