FINAL SCORE: Dolphins V Ravens (week 2)

Good point. It's not just about the offense clicking.

The defense can't be giving up 3rd and 12s. They need to get off the field.

That's how 7 drives a game can turn into 12-13.

Also, a nice long bomb to Hill or Waddle is a way to get another offensive drive as well lol.

The reason I see the jump, honestly. This is the week I believe we see atleast 2 deep connections for either 50+yard TDS or gains.

I think MCD knows he needs to score this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if the mentality is " I don't care if it's an INT, or incomplete. I don't care if Hill is triple covered. Throw it up there and let's see what happens"

With a guy like Hill you can do that, especially early. If you fail, well, you still have 3 quarters left and in theory the INT is just as far, maybe better than a punt lol
I don’t expect Hill to be tripled cover.....he was open all game long last Sunday

Only reason I disagree with the 30, is this.

I believe we win. But I also believe we score over 30 because we have to.

Each offensive drive will have a different significance in this game.

NE we knew the Dolphins were in control early in the game.

With Baltimore. I don't think we will have that same feeling until Sanders kicks the game winning field goal with 4 seconds left and we win 31-30
I see it differently.
We will be ahead 27 to 17 and take two or three knees to kill the clock at the end of the game.
No use risking injury or loss of the ball when we are ahead and there are less than 2 minutes in the game.

Two aspects of ball control:
1) Keep it and keep moving the goal posts until you score.
2) Late in either half - keep moving the ball until you can kill the clock with 2 or 3 plays as long as you are ahead, thus keeping the ball out of the other teams' hands. Otherwise, you are better off scoring. - LOL

wow, again, going from 13 points at home on week one to scoring 4 TD's or more on week two just doesn’t seem realistic for this offense. The talent is there but I think it's going to take time for them to gel. I see many people predicting 28 and into the 30's and that's a big leap. In order for that to happen our defense would have to get off the field instead of allowing long time consuming drives and the offense would have to really be clicking. Hard task but I hope they can do it.
McDaniel fooled you too - LOL

I can make my 28 point prediction easier.
I think we will score on defense again.
I think our offense will score 21 points (one more TD this week) against the Ravens. I think the Patriots defense is better than Baltimore and I think we can improve each week on both sides of the ball.

A lot of fans want to look past our win last week and nitpick, but beating BB and his Patriots 4 straight is no small task. I never felt Miami was in danger last week after that first Patriots drive ended. I like our chances this week.

I want us to score 6 or more points every quarter but realize it might take four games before we start achieving at that level.

This game and next week's game I'll be satisfied if we sore 6 or more points and don't score in just one quarter.

I still am looking for a game score of 27 to 17 with the Dolphins winning.

I like this a lot. I think taking some deep shots with Hill, successful or not, could open up the running game.
Even though he had the most targets, you could tell in his post game interview, he wasn't happy. Hate to see a unhappy and disgruntled Hill.
