FINAL SCORE: Dolphins V Ravens (week 2)

I can make my 28 point prediction easier.
I think we will score on defense again.
I think our offense will score 21 points (one more TD this week) against the Ravens. I think the Patriots defense is better than Baltimore and I think we can improve each week on both sides of the ball.

A lot of fans want to look past our win last week and nitpick, but beating BB and his Patriots 4 straight is no small task. I never felt Miami was in danger last week after that first Patriots drive ended. I like our chances this week.
I'm not down playing the win against NE that maybe you had more confidence than me.......Tua could very easily had ended up with two picks and a loss fumble. If that had been the case maybe the game ends with a different score?

If you think NE's defense is better than the Raven's then I take your word for it but keep in mind they're playing at home. Again, not saying we can’t win the game, just saying I don't see our offense scoring more than 3 times.....if all 3 times are TD's then we might be on to something but I'm not sure that's going to be the case. I hope I'm worng.

Good primer game with the Bills coming up. Offense has to carry more of the load to give the defense more room for error (we made the investment so 30+pts should be our goal). We'll need at least 30 vs Buffalo to have a chance.

Also, should keep an eye on the field position game - we need to do better here than we did last week.

I see this being a very different game than last year. Less zero-blitz due to the CB situation (we'll probably show a lot of it pre-snap though) and we'll probably send more LBs this year.

Hope I'm wrong but this being Baltimore's home opener I see us dropping it 27-18 to the Ravens. If our offense steps up though you could easily see this score reversed for a Dolphins win. Let's see if our O is ready to take the next step?

Aaand what team doesn't?
So my point is to play aggressive against them because you have nothing to lose. But we don't seem to do that. We played scared and don't attack enough.

The main thing I think limits this offense, is the fact they're still getting used to a new system, new players, new HC, new playcaller, etc. Seems Tua has the playbook pretty much wired, but not everybody else does.

It's a lot of new stuff happening and it takes time.....on top of that the O-line starters never played together till the NE game and then two of them went down at different times. Waddle hadn’t played in the pre season and Hill had played very little....same with Edmonds and Mostert so the offense should get better.....I just don’t think in one week is going to get so much better to go into Baltimore and score a lot. Again, hope I'm wrong
