Finsiders' Jesse Agler leaving town

Ohall, I was hoping for the exact same thing. I despise Cefalo. The alltime worst play by play guy ever imo. So vanilla, so bland. I never listen to radio anymore because of him. I liked Rick Weaver and I was a big fan of Jimbo!
 
Hopefully Mando and Omar realize how terrible they are when everyone around them keeps leaving and they are still there. THEN they retire and never associate themselves with Miami ever.

I wonder if they have ever even gotten a call from a recruiter before? Those two have been in the market for decades and they never rise the ranks. Darlington was here for like 3 years and got a gig at NFLN. That must kill them, considering how big their egos are...

And the Finsiders show is unlistenable. Sam Madison literally cannot get a complete, English language sentence out of his mouth. Bokamper is a meat head, not intelligent all. Troy Stradford is as bland as a piece of bread. O.J. McDuffie and Keith Sims are the only two worth a hoot.

Agler was kind of a nerd - too much of a company man - but he at least could form intelligent opinions. I thought he did a decent job during the Dolphins preseason TV broadcast. Sad to see him go but like anyone with 1/2 a brain, I empathize with disassociating oneself with the dysfunction that is the Miami Dolphins.

Details matter in the business, and the company-paid media personnel are truly unacceptable. Don't get me started on the stadium, parking, marketing campaigns, etc, etc, etc...

Dang, all the decent media/journalist types leave and the horrible Omar and Man do stay. BLECH.
 
Huh...have to listen to Finsiders tonight. My guess is Jon Congemi will take over...
 
Wise move if he switches to objective media and not public relations. I emphasized last August that Agler was too talented to get stuck in a smooch role for decade after decade.

Our radio is horrible besides Joe Rose, IMO. I'd let them all go besides Joe. I love Bob, but he's too old to do radio. If the radio was better like you I would listen to it during the game.

Rick Weaver was the man.

I'm sure if he was doing the play by play on the radio he'd be happy to be a part of a situation like that.
 
That's too bad. He will be missed. I was bummed when Jeff Darlington left.

It probably crushes them, which is hilarious. I doubt they have ever been called, seeing as normally you have to show some signs of being a good reporter which they lack.
 
Have you guys actually listened to a Finsiders broadcast? Those announcers were peddling more bs spin than a politician in the middle of a sex scandal. On days after the Dolphins were blown out with the OLine giving up 10 sacks and Tannehill turning the ball over 4 times the entire show would be about how Ireland was a genius because Egnew finally got on the field for two plays and didn't have a penalty. If that is what you consider to be broadcasting talent then I worry about the future of this fan-base.
