The dolphins have NEVER been terrible with Tony as coach.
Won the AFC east the first year and in position to make the playoff the last two year.
A couple W's instead of L's in December both years and we'd all be praising him.
Even if we go with what we got now we'll be competative and it will come down to the last 3 or 4 games.
This year we play all those games against division rivals.
The point of all this is if Tony can finsh strong and win 9 or 10 games I believe he stays.
If the team folds up agian ...... especillly at home ... , stu gots to Tony.
Sleep with the fishes.

Why would we want to artifically inflate a bad record? Why would we want to strive for 6-10 when we know damn well we're headed for 3-13 or 4-12? All it does is cost draft position.
What is disheartening is he couldnt motivate the team enough to win those games that we needed to win to get us into the playoffs.
Please dont laugh, the talent on this team can easily win us 8 games but as history as proven, TS can lose this locker room and things can go south quickly. A 4 win season is not unrealistic. You honestly think this is a 3-4 win team? lol
EXACTLY
I love the Fins but the way they closed out the last two seasons broke my f ing heart
If it happens again EVERYBODY in charge should go.
There will always be those who claim that you're right. I dont take them to seriously because they close their mind to the future possibility.I wouldnt go there. Youre gonna get the guys that live by the, "Well no HC in NFL history has ever won two superbowls with two different teams", crap arguement. Unrealistic expectations as such to want us going right from sub .500 seasons to directly int the superbowl. Not that it means anything as anything could happen, but Cowher is a definite and grand upgrade over Sparano. Just having him on the sidelines would sell a ton more tickets - unless we start losing again when his honeymoon phase is over.
Slimm raised this point as well and it is absolutely the way to go. My concern is Ross will make an impulsive decision to terminate Sparano and we are stuck relying on Ireland to convince him otherwise. Why would we want to artifically inflate a bad record? Why would we want to strive for 6-10 when we know damn well we're headed for 3-13 or 4-12? All it does is cost draft position.

I honestly feel they are closer to a 4 win season then they are to a 12 win season, would you not agree?
Chubbs
In 2008 they had less talent, had the element of surprise and won 11 games. They have their most talented team under Sparano and again have the element of surprise. Watch out.
