Washington had one nice year running an offense that didn't have much future. When they couldn't run the same stuff this year the entire O went in the toilet and he had no counter move. Shanahan also has a history of getting into it with his quarterbacks:

There has to be better options than a ******** son of a famous coach who really hasn't had that much of his own professional success.
I get that, but to be fair on the RG3 friction thing, RG3 is the dysfunctional guy in that organization. He's come out and actually bragged about having influence over the owner, and has repeatedly thrown his receivers under the bus both to the media and apparently in private.
I just don't think he'd be a bad option considering what our options actually are. Let's face it, as much as I'd love to see Gary Kubiak brought in here, we ain't bringing Gary Kubiak in here.
