It isn't this idea that we are prepared to take Edwards is Smith isn't on the board. IMO, the biggest smoke screen was the comments Ronnie Brown made that stated the Dolphins haven't contacted him in over a month.

IMO the talent is so jumbled and similar at the top 5 that it's just hard to predict and that's why your seeing smokescreens and media cluelessness. You have to give credit to Saban for closing out the media as well.

Sure we talked to him, among a million other players, but the Brown thing has been complete speculation. I would just as soon assume we take Edwards, but I don't recall us ever meeting with him.

I agree Fin, what Saban has done is not by accident, or normal. San Fran and Cleveland have not exactly been talking up a storm on who they are going to pick, and it seems to be more obvious who both want. I can't remember the last time a team in the top 5 had everyone so confused on who they would pick, and that was not done by just staying quiet.
