Flying to Miami tonight!!!! Need ideas on what to do, places to visit, etc.

-If you are going to the buy Dolphins gear go to the Stadium. They're slightly overpriced but they have almost everything!

-Snorkeling is a great experience. If you do decide to go try these guys: Keys Diver. I've used them twice and wasn't disappointed. It's in Key Largo, of course.

-South Beach (Obviously) or Bayside on a Saturday night.
 
How about you give the American Airlines Arena a visit? There's an event called the NBA Finals going on right now, you should go cheer Miami on at the AAA if you're still in town into next week.
 
Go to South Beach.....bring your wallet, check your liver, and try not to drool on the most beautiful women in the world.
 
It's miami! Find a bar or nightclub on the water and go get f***ed up. :)
 
Prime 112 as a restaurant option. Don't go to Miami and try and cheapskate your way thru the city. Not worth it. Hit up Yardbird for Sunday morning brunch.

Get some legit Cuban food from Calle Ocho. Check out Versailles. That's my favorite Cuban spot. Nikki Beach is worth checking out.

Strip clubs...stay away from Tootsie's and KOD. Hit Scarlett's. They appreciate redheads there.
 
Brickell is a cool place to hang out, lots of bars/lounges there.
 
To exand on the latin flare, check out Mango's on Ocean Dr. The News Cafe' is another good place to sit outside and enjoy the sights. It was Versace's favorite place before he was killed. He used have coffee and read his paper there. BTW it's Lincoln Rd, not Lincoln St.

Finally! After 25 years, I'll be flying to Miami from the bay area! I'm so excited to come down there that I don't even know where to begin. I'll be getting in super early (5:20am) so we'll probably go grab a bite to eat, then chill on a beach until we can get early check in. Some things I'd like to do at some point is:

-Check out a Dolphins store and buy a ton of stuff!
-Eat at some awesome restaurants
-Visit some beautiful beaches
-Maybe go snorkeling
-Go to a good Salsa club/bar
-Any other cool things to do for entertainment

I'll be staying at the Shore Club Hotel so anything close to there would be great! Where should I go? What should I do? Anything I absolutely have to do before leaving Miami? :)

Best Phins stuff is at the stadium store-take the Fla Turnpike
Coconut Grove-cool bars/restaurants
Monte Trainers in Coconut Grove-good food, bar, live music
Joe's Stone Crabs on S Beach-have to make a reservation way in advance-the best food!
Venetian Pool in Coral Gables

Miami Marlins Stadium-coolest baseball stadium I've ever been to-I've always gotten tickets at Stub Hub

go to Shula's Steakhouse in Miami Lakes.. great food and tons of dolphins stuff.. less than a 1/2 hr drive from dowtown miami.
 
Dolphins stadium tour. Best $20/person I spent while there.

Plus one or its two I think!. I recommended it to someone else on FH last week if you have never been got to go at least once. The one in Miami Lakes it twice as nice as the one in Ft. Laduerdale just as an FYI.
 
Joes Stone Crab is a must just be preppared for $100 a person EASY and a two hour wait .
