Football player/ Star have you met?

i met richard jefferson of the nets and nick collison of the sonics in a casino in puerto rico. i was on vacation and they were playing in the olympics trials i think.
i also met wally sczerbiak and busta rhymes at roosevelt field mall in nyc.

Met Irving Fryar a couple years ago. He was playing for the Eagles and I was at their training camp facility in Allentown, PA while visiting a friend. After practice I was waiting outside the buildings with tons of fans. When he came out he walked through the line ignoring everybody asking for an autograph.
When he passed me I shouted 'Come on Irving..., for an old Fin fan!'
He turned around immediately and signed his picture in a preview magazine I had with me. It was the only autograph he signed this day.
Pretty cool for me since I'm from Germany and don't have a chance to meet/see players that often...

Also met Mike Holmgren while staying in Seattle 2 years ago (visiting the same friend :) ). We were at the same haircutter like Mike and had a nice talk with him...

I met Ricky Williams the year he led the league in rushing..I was drunk and walking down ocean drive back to the car when I noticed him standing right there across the street from Fat Tuesday..He was just standing there next to his bike...As I walked by an noticed him, I said under my breath: "oh, $hit..Ricky, wutsup, man?! And I extended my hand (he could of just given me daps) He like ignored me basically and picked up his bike and started getting on..At this point, I said screw him and just kept walking as he went his own way..As he did that, in my drunkenness, I called out...You Pu$#y BOY!!

I met O.J McDuffie like 3 years ago in Best Buy out my Sawgrass Mills. He was on cructhes at the time and he was shorter than me and I am about 5'10. He was a very nice guy though. I also met the hardest working man in show business in New Orleans, Ike Turner

I forgot my brother in law Brandon was a Silver Medalist at 118 pounds in the 1996 Olympics, he got to wrestle Jenny McCarthy after the Olympics, damn he is so damn lucky :jawdrop: him and Kurt Angle were on her MTV show she had back then.

When I was in high school, I met Larry Csonka and Jim Kiick speaking at a hotel engagement, and Garo Yepremian at (of all places) an appliance store.

I lived in Dallas in the mid-Eighties. Even though I wasn't too familiar with the Cowboys, I hung out with Eugene Lockhart in a club there.

I met Jim Langer at an autograph party also. He let my son and wife try on his Super Bowl ring.

After the Detroit Lions home game a couple of years ago, I met with Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor and Jed Weaver at the Hooters in Pembroke Pines. They took time out to sign my son's jersey and wife's visor.

Last year, on a flight from Atlanta to Denver, I sat with Marco Coleman and Garrison Hearst. The movie playing was "Along Came Polly" and we sat in the back of First Class and laughed like idiots.

Jim Brown visited my elementary school when I was about 9....I was too young to really understand who he was...but now as I look back who cares if that loud mouth was at my school.....he was a GREAT player but man he keeps his nose in anything he can!

OJ McDuffie - Several times... Used to run into him all the time at VooDoo Lounge

Shawn Wooden - Another Frequent visiter to downtown Lauderdale

Oronde Gadsden
AJ Johnson
Ricky Williams
Sammy Knight - Met them at a function for Jeff Ogden's 'Make a wish Foundation' (I think it was). Oh yeah, met Jeff Ogden too.

Zach Thomas - In a bar on the Beach... He and two of his buddies were ordering Lemon Drops. Zach turned to me and said that "Goldschloger was for pu55y's and that Real Men drank Lemon Drops". Really cool guy. He bought two rounds to my one, and we talked for about a half hour before I even let on that I knew who he was. Before leaving, I shook his hand and thanked him for getting his brains knock around every week for my entertainment. he was very appreciative.

I was sporting my Dolphins Pro Player Jacket...he noticed that. I went up to him and shook his hand...he said something to the effect of...hhmm I don't know if I should be greeting you like this...with that Dolphins Jacket on...he then said...so you like the Dolphins...and I said...no...I don't like the Dolphins...I love them!!!! He laughed and said that's cool...and that was it.

GO FINS!!!
