Fox Sports: Keep An Eye on Donnie Spragan

Anyone noticed a trend of guys labeled as "smart" being brought in.

Let Channing Crowder Start

You see, people like you are ruining this board...This is an article about Donnie Spragan, not Channing Crowder..Of course, Crowder will get his shares of plays in the mix, but focus on the topic "DONNIE SPRAGAN"...........Gezzz...

I was thining the same thing. Even our draft picks. Crowder and Brown did really well on hte wonderlic if I remember, and Roth doesnt need brains. I dont know about Daniels, but Alabi is clearly a smart kid if you heard his interview.

I am happy with the Spragan signing also. He may be just as good as Greenwood and could even be better. We got him for Two years at $1.9 million while Greenwood will have made about $10 million in his first two years of his 5 year contract. Good cheap move.

I don't know now. But when I was in college. Stanford was top five in Engineering. It went something like:

1. MIT
2. Harvard
3. University of Illinois at Urbana Campaing
4. Stanford.

I don't remember the exact order but I'm pretty sure it takes some brains and dedicatio to graduante from Stanford Engineering

i dont know about best. id take Lewis, Boulware and Suggs any day but we could have a top 5-7 with Crowder, Thomas and is Spragan or Moore steps up but more realistically i woudl say like we would have about 10-15 range

Not forgetting Uncle Junior too...

Ok he's a bright guy. But can he play football. Never heard of the guy until the Dolphins signed him.

Donnie started for the Bronco's last year...we're getting a SOLID starting calibur guy for less than 1 million a year...

Is he a game breaker? No...will he stop the run and make tackles? Yes...

Exactly. And I believe his current salary is $500K a year (2 year contract) which is what I would consider getting good value for a low a price.

I think our defense is going to be a lot different than in the past. We are going to have a nasty side to us this year.
Yeah I want to see us on Jacked UP more often.

How Can You Not Remember Tony Bua Making That Hit He Was On Jacked Up One Of The Better Hits Of The Year. :D :fire:
