My point exactly. Saints will have to chop 4-5 players in order to even pay Streif scraps.

Steif is letting emotions get the best of him and will take a crap contract in order to stay with the Saints.
 
I got a great idea for our new RT!!! We can trade one of our draft picks for the Saints Terrance Armstead!
 
Whatever.

Strief wants to stay in NO. However, NO does not have the $ and there are several RTs in the draft.

Buyers market. Keep the door open to Strief and wait.

Are you operating under the assumption that he needs us more than we need him? He doesn't need us.

Exactly................................"We want Winners." Guys that want to be here and are ready to go full tilt. Better to know where his heart is now than to have him signed for a year or two and he's half-heartedly here. Again did I mention the three W's "We Want Winners"!!!! And that's all.....
 
Just don't know how the sSaints are going to pull this one off. They have 0 money so who are they going to cut.

The #Dolphins expressed interest in #Saints RT Zach Strief. But easy to see his choice (and New Orleans’) choice is to keep him there.
 
I would look at David Stewart. Good veteran. Played 12 games the last two years though.
 
i can see Bress taking a pay cut then add a few more years to his contract
