Chicago Bears (3-1) at Miami Dolphins (3-2), 1 p.m. – The Bears might be one of the surprise teams of 2018. Their defense is big-time with the addition of Khalil Mack, and quarterback Mitch Trubisky is quietly becoming a multi-threat quarterback. The Dolphins appear to be finding their own level after their 3-0 start. Prediction: Bears, 24-16

Hate to say it but the Bears are better than us, offensively and defensively. If things don’t improve with the oline RT is going to be on his back all day. Bears D is real deal. Don’t see our offense doing anything. Look for a couple more picks and a ton of sacks. Their offense has a bunch of speed and playmakers and Trubisky is going to run all over us.

Damn I thought Marino was coming out of retirement.

Miami Dolphins (+3) vs. Chicago Bears
Maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment, or perhaps I'm just not letting an awful beat scare me off an excellent opportunity here. The last we saw the Bears Mitch Trubisky was throwing six touchdowns as they torched the Buccaneers, 48-10, in Chicago. Now the Bears are coming off a bye and heading down to South Beach, and it's possible Trubisky, and the Bears offense have taken a considerable step forward.

It's also possible that the Bears took advantage of a horrible Tampa defense and are being a little overvalued here. I'm just not ready to trust a team led by Trubisky as a 3-point favorite on the road yet. Particularly against a Miami pass defense that's proven to be one of the best in the NFL. I will spend this entire game in constant fear of Khalil Mack creating a defensive touchdown that kills me, but I'm willing to live with that fear. Chicago Bears 21, Miami Dolphins 20

Chicago Bears (-3) at Miami Dolphins

Sunday 1 p.m., Fox

This feels like a trap game for the Bears, coming off a bye against the unpredictable Dolphins, who are led by Chicago's former offensive coordinator, Adam Gase. But Matt Nagy will have figured out a few more things to help move forward Mitchell Trubisky and the offense. Ryan Tannehill is going downhill again, and Khalil Mack isn’t about to let the QB out of the slump. Chicago also will be backed by good fan support on the road.

PICK: Bears win 23-10 and cover the spread.
