Game Day Thread

I think most of the, cut Gibson talk came from the media saying he wouldn't be recovered fully. Clearly that is not an issue and I doubt you will find too many people that said they wanted Gibson cut based on his play.

I'm pretty sure even the organization is surprised. Now Landry is a luxury.

I'm sure they are also surprised that Rishard Matthews was put on notice and has also come into the preseason balling.

Not true

That will very likely happen soon. Thomas got a shot and it looks like he blew it. This is what preseason is for.

Though now that I think about it, they obviously needed to make changes last year and never did, so maybe it won't.

I see Thomas getting cut and a free agent guard getting signed. Enough already.

The Fins crew has been solid tonight, which is kind of disappointing.

I'd gladly listen to the Fins announcers over this mistimed second to last pump by his daddy keep stumbling though the broadcast like Forrest Gump at a MENSA meeting

Pay no attention to that defense that was on the field last year with most of the same players.

That was 8th in scoring D. Ok

They aren't going to cut Thomas. They may give Shelley Smith a shot. Thomas was fine last game. A starter doesn't get cut over 1 preseason game against a top DT in the NFL.

Why blame Miller? It's not as if Walter Payton would do that much with the way the line is blocking in the run game again.

Not blaming him just saying lets see Knoshown. maybe the result is the same but he has a ton of experience in the zone blocking scheme. I'm not a U fan so I'm not attached to players from the U.

Our running game looks atrocious. Defense looks ok minus crappy secondary tackling. Offense looks average, still terrible run and pass blocking. They look lazy out there. I really hope this isn't the team on the field in a few weeks.

It's real hard to tell what we even have with Miller since the run blocking is so pathetic. Similar thing happened with Tannehill last year because they couldn't pass block.
