GAMEWEEK thread! Pats vs. Dolphins

You do realize the Daboll learned much of what he knows about the offense from Belichick, yes?

Daboll hasn't exactly shined in his other gigs since leaving the Pats, either.

thats funny, that used to be said after BB's gig in cleveland. i remember those days and the bernie kosar thang.

Brady struggles against miami history shows this, our defense is designed to get after the QB and shade vontae davis onto the opposing teams best player. Davis will pick brady off like he has before and wwake and jt will plant brady on the grass all game long. Meanwhile brandon marshall is gonna go nuts. Miami wins convincingly and becomes a factor for the playoffs

yeah, i mean, i remember last year when their offense wasnt exactly killing us at all but the blocked punt for td and tate i think it was ran one back and we were behind eight ball and henne throws pick 6. I remember seeing brady all happy on the sideline. that happiness told me he was off the hook. he didnt have to have a great game, just keep ball away.

His name is Grogan12 (from Steve Grogan, a very overrated Pats QB from the 80s), so he is a Pats fan, here to act like anyone thinking the Dolphins have a chance, is just plain insane.

You don't or can't read??? Maybe you should take a look at my very first thread in this topic on the "GAME" Or you can just wave your pom poms and pretend you can talk about football.

Well, I don't know if you heard, but when you knock Brady on his rare, he looks.....UNBrady like, and Wake Right now is one of the best pass-rushers playing....oh and in case you also forgot, no single defensive player has been a bigger thorn in Brady's behind, then Jason Taylor, so let the fun begin.

I don't know if you heard, but it's called football, and in this game there's this magical thing called pressuring the Qb. Teams try to do it because when you hit a QB and make them rush their reads a yet even more magical thing happens, they all play "UnBrady like". Is there anyone on this site over 16 years old and has spent more time watching football than they have suntaning?

How do you figure that the Pats are much closer to the end than the beginning? They've got a young RB corps, they've got a young QB who can have 3 years to develop on the bench, they have a very good young corner.. Their LBers are very young.. They have very young book end Tackles..

The Patriots are already not as dominant as they once were. Sure it's a very slow decline, but they have been declining. You can sit and think that this success will last forever, but it won't. I'm not saying you will be horrible in the next 2 or 3 years, but it will come and trust me it will suck.

Your idea of decline is fine by me because as long as the Patriots are owned by the Krafts any decline will be short lived and lead to a quick upswing. Maybe you didn't realize it but last year the Pats where re-building and turning over their roster for the future. Even when Brady retires I have the comfort of knowing that the Owners of my team won't sit around for a decade failing to replace their Hall of Fame QB, they already started their search now. So you can pretend that it will all come to an end when Brady's done, but what you just don't get, is that it's not only Brady that's great, it's the organization from top to bottom.

That is what Dolphins fans thought too. Niners fans never thought they would be bad. Cowboys fans are still waiting to become good again. Watch these Colts fans after Peyton is done. It won't last forever no matter how optimistic you are.

Well obviously you are not aware of your star QBs shortcomings, the problem with Brady that does not happen to most great QBs, (Manning, Roger, Brees, Marino, Elway, Montana to name a few), all of them will throw it earlier then they want, they might make a wrong read, or just plain panic and make a throw they did not want to make, but with Brady, it tends to linger longer with him, he starts to not be as effctive even if your D is not getting to him, almost like becomes shell shocked when he gets hit a few times, it's how the Giants beat the Pats, how Miami shutout your team in 06, and why in pre-season Brady has been good, not great.

There is a big reason why Brady wants JT on the Patriots, he hates having to play against him. No player has sacked him, hit his arm while in the motion of throwing, or just plain pressured Brady more then JT....Add Wake, and it should be a fun party for Brady.

Yea, replacing a HOF QB is a very simple thing to do, and you guys are going to be awesome for decades.

Last year the Pats embarrassed us on National television 14-41. I hope that doesn't happen again.

and guys wonder why the media thinks this team is a total joke? that's what most people saw of the Dolphins last year. you want respect and hear analysts talking about you as a for real contender? yeah, take care of business at home and punch the Pats right the farking face!

Not at all, it's amazing to me how little you understand the written word, my point is that great organizations will always put better products on the field Hall of Fame Qb or not. I also understand that it's doubtfull that I will ever see a better QB start for the Patriots in my life time, but yet again, Great organizations will out live great players.

Motivated Haynesworth who says he's excited to go to practice everyday and play for this team. Watch out Miami, he's coming for you. Wilfork or Haynesworth, pick your poison...cant double both

I am more concerned with the city of Miami being able to feed them both.

The niners had a great organization. The Cowboys had a great organization. The organization is always great when you're winning then when you start losing it turns into a bad organization. Hell the Raiders were considered a great organization at one point.
