Jets have a few contracts they could dump—e.g. C. Lawson, C. Davis—but also have a very large Quinnen Williams 2nd contract on the horizon.

End of the world if the Jets reunite with Hackett and Rodgers? Hardly. Yeah they could be a better team next year. But Rodgers is one step away from being done if he isn't already. And, good as Rodgers is, every time he has major changes to his receiving corps he has an adjustment period because of the way he is so predicated upon throwing guys open in a way that requires his receivers to be on the same page. I'm worried about the Jets finding their Tom Brady or Josh Allen, not about them taking on an aging Packer QB like they've already done in the past.

I may be wrong but, I don’t see Rodgers having the personality to dill with the NY media.

If it leads to Aaron Rodgers reuniting with his old coach, this will be very bad news for a few years. That would be another really tough team.

This is exactly what's in the works... and if it happens our division just got alot harder.

Rodgers sucks in the playoffs but hes a monster in the regular season.

Actually he’s been a very good OC in his career.
Outside of one good season for Jacksonville his offenses have consistently been in the bottom half of the league.

This move is a vain attempt to gain favor with Aaron Rodgers. It would be a Jets move to mortgage their future on a 40 year old quarterback, though. Remember Brett Favre in 2008?

According to rumors Rodgers is "friends" with Zach Wilson. Which is hard to believe bc Rodgers friends looks like this...

No wonder the Jets love playing with Mike White as they think Zach Wilson is a hostile, toxic person and a QB.

While it's certainly not out of the realm, the Jets could trade for Rodgers. But it seems highly unlikely with a $50M plus per year price tag that comes along with him. Additionally the Packers are asking for two first round picks for a guy that is nearing 40 yrs old. At his age, there is no guarantee of success? Especially if father time, strikes when no one expects him? At this point any team would be placing a bet he continues to perform? Not a good bet IMO. Jets would be better served to pass.

As for Hackett, he has his hands full. The better QB is White, not sure the Jets believe that yet?
White is f/a

Denver tried this last year and ended up with Russ. There is no guarantee Rodgers leaves GB. And then f they let Mike White walk, that may be worth pulling in for a look as a backup.

And that legit scares me. Not just because Rodgers with Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson and that D could do serious damage in the AFCE next season, but also because Zach Wilson and Rodgers reportedly have a relationship and getting Rodgers in that QB room might be the best thing for Zach’s long term development.
