Good news on Mike Pouncy via PFF

yep a solid game from 2 draft picks zeros out the fact that this team has steadily gotten worse since going 11-5.
11-5 was a fluke. Easiest schedule in Fins history. We have gotten better, we have talent.. we just need a coach that knows what to do with it.

I could agree with more talent, but the team isn't playing any better. Maybe that's an excuse to keep Ireland, but I just think he keeps trying to patch together players rather than building with any sort of plan in mind.

I disagree. It seems like we're getting younger and more depth at most positions. You can't address everything at once (for example, we didn't have to worry about the running game at first with R&R) Obviously the O-line isn't the strong point other than Long/Pouncey at the moment. But where exactly do you feel that Ireland has screwed things up?

So out of 5 offensive line position we MAY have two very good ones.
After 3 years and several draft picks including #1 overall and the #15 and many no so free agents.
All while Tony was supposidly a good O line coach in Dallas.
This I will never understand.
At this rate it will be 2014 before we have a solid line.
I know you all know this but i find it very disturbing and one reason I've gone from supporting our coach to hoping for an immediate change.
I think Colombo was the last straw for me.

It doesn't seem to matter how crappy the player is, as long as they played with Dallas or Sparano and Ireland know the guy, he gets signed.
