Good quarterbacking is innate.

I bet you were one of those gumps who thought Chad Henne was good too.
No I not. Also not an idiot that rage on a qb that three for almost 4000 yards and 25 tds with no running game, no line, and Wrs and te dropping like flys. Stop pretending that this "it" factor is an actual measurement, you sound pretentious.

Not for nothin, but Drew Brees was considered a bust after until he got out of SD. Tannehill is wildly inconsistent and erratic but just sayin

Ummm no...he was a stud his 3rd and 4th season with San Diego, he just tore up his shoulder so they opted to let him go and went with Rivers instead. However, after his first two seasons San Diego was ready to give up on him which is why they drafted Eli (and then traded for Rivers) in the first place.

Thats the point. And my point as well

Stop oversimplifying something that it more complicate than some vague " it" term.

Oversimplifying? Please. If you can't see it, then there's no hope for you. The difference between a 7-9 team, and a 11+ win contending team is a very good to great quarterback. It's that simple. It's single most important position in the league. It's why it's the highest paid position by far.

Bortles or Bridgewater. May need to move up.

You don't know that he can't be very good. You simply give a few example of already great qbs and talk about some vague it factor.

Yep, and I agree with you there, doesn't mean Tannehill will be the next Brees, but I've always maintained that I'd be content giving him three full seasons before I'm ready to declare him anything other than a young QB.

When you are outplayed by Thad Lewis and Geno Smith back to back, and average a 47 quarterback rating in the final two weeks when the playoffs are there for the taking...You aren't a good quarterback. Period.

Continue to delude yourself. Ryan Tannehill sucks.

seems like a lot of excuses have to be made for tannehill. it woulld be cooler at this point if we were headed to the playoffs and got their the last 2 weeks on the strong play of our young franchise qb.

It's ridiculous honestly. Excuse after excuse.

Andrew Luck has no running game(Trent Richardson SUCKS, awful trade by Indy). Average defense. Crappy receivers since Reggie Wayne went down. And he's got the Colts winning their division. 2 for 2 in postseason births.

There's levels to this ****.
