Good quarterbacking is innate.

This is 2007 all over again when some of you same characters were deluding yourself into thinking Chad Henne could be good.

I feel sorry for some of you.

whats the point of this post? Do you feel sorry for yourself also because ill tell you something; regardless of what you want, or what I want, or what anyone wants, Tannehill WILL BE our starting QB next year. Thats a fact. So you do possess the ability to feel sorry for yourself since you will have to watch Tannehill play. We bette all hope and pray he gets better and works on his non-existent deep ball

So where your threads/posts blaming the running backs? the o line? the receivers? i bet there wasnt any...

that is their only measuring stick...missed deep balls. Its all these people ever talk about in every thread.

Sorry, I am not a Tannehill basher. My only criticism of him all season has been that he cannot hit the deep ball to Wallace, and it is infuriating. I ripped the coaching staff for their terrible game plan last week. I ripped the pass rush for the past few weeks. I have ripped the o-line all season. There is plenty of blame to go around. I just have to respond to posts that blame everything on someone like Wallace, etc. Tannehill has to share the blame. A lot of the 60 sacks he took this year were his fault. He turned the ball over way too much. Missed a lot of open receivers. This team has tons of problems, including an inconsistent young QB.

And allow me to say this. I hope I'm entirely wrong on all this. I hope this thread can be bumped come
next year this time around, and Tannehill has an MVP caliber campaign and we're a legit playoff team. And I'll gladly eat all types of crow.

But I'm 99% sure I'm right. Good quarterbacks don't play as awful as Tannehill did these last couple weeks with everything on the line. They just don't.

Did y'all just see what Aaron Rogers just did against the Bears? LOL.

I have seen great qbs have bad games in key situations so.... Also comparing a
2nd year player to a top 5 qb in year 8.. Lol

I feel sorry for all us man lol. We are all fins fans here. We're forever stuck in 7-9, 8-8 purgatory, with garbage QB's and coaching staffs. It sucks.

Also lol @Tannehill being bashed for the Buffalo gam that NO ONE showed up for.

Tannehill is not a garbage qb.

Please show me a great quarterback that posted 47 QB rating, and led their offense to 7 points in 8 quarters with the playoffs on the line.

I'll wait.

I made a thread about Wallace critiquing aspects of his game. I never blamed him for anything.

Leadership is the real concern I have with Tannehill. I have said it before that "I just don't see the fire" with Tannehill. He doesn't seem to care. Lose or win. This is much line Henne...the robot.

I want someone who gives a ****! Noone had to like fire under Marino's ass...
I think that you underestimate Tannehill. He is probably not a big yeller like Philip Rivers or Tom Brady but make no mistake he was ripping Rishard Matthews for the 3rd down drop. The camera only showed them on the sideline for a second but it was clear that Matthews was getting feedback from his QB. BTW - that drop was a very costly one. Interesting that in an earlier game (I forget if it was pre-season), but Tannehill sent Matthews off the field for wanting to fight.
Don't be fooled by the softly spoken guy you see in the media. He has been trained to present a sensible image when the cameras are on at the press conferences. There's more to him than that. Whether he has the full leadership attributes is to be seen.

Tannehill should get next season. If there's an opp to greatly improve the position than fine, make a move. I just don't see that happening. Maybe draft someone. But I think I personally saw enough progress from year 1 to 2 to give him another year at least.

The name of your thread was "Wallace Sucks". Followed by "Wallace sucks" and other tidbits about it not being Tannehill's fault. Please.

82 QBR. 17 INTS, and 9 fumbles on the year.

That's not good to me. Guess I have higher expectations. Matt Moore did an 87 QBR in 2011.

Exactly.

Exactly.

all I said was he can't help tannehill out. and I also stated tannehill isn't blameless. Wallace is a one trick pony who runs poor routes and can't catch with his hands and he's soft. how was I wrong about any of that?
