That was an ignorant comment. He has Crohn's disease, it is not something that will be a career ender at this point! It is an intestinal disease where the small intestine and colon lining can become infected and destroy itself. It's severity varies in people.

When i saw him play against the Dolphins D a couple of years ago he played a hell of a game and was the best qb in the game. I believe it was preseason though but still looked good
