Hey, let the best man win. If Lamar shows that he can be good enough to earn some carries that's great.

I think that early in the year you will see Lamar and Ronnie split the bulk of the carries.

You have to keep in mind that Ronnie wasn't on the field all the time at Auburn. He was sharing the backfield with Caddilac, so we don't want to throw him out there as a workhorse back to start the season. That was one of the sweeter deals when we brought in Lamar and if he plays well and we are winning. Make Ricky sit the bench. It's not going to hurt anyone. Can you imagine a team at 9-2 before Ricky hits the field?

Actually, he was on the field most of the time. When Caddy went to HB, Ronnie usually went to FB. In fact, He split time at three positions, HB, FB and WR.
