he's gonna get hit hard early, we'll see how he holds up then. for a change I will take a solid player composed to a superstar at prob one of our biggest positions of need. and as far as explosive....teddy ginn, lamar miller, vontae davis, and dion Jordan were all mentioned. lamar miller wasn't a first rounder so you can really pin him with the rest. honestly ted ginns potential peak was a mike Wallace who we paid 10 mil + for. outside WR who is a speed demon, I wanted brady Quinn so im not gonna complain about our choice. we knew he was a stellar KR and a burner. if ted ginn was on our roster today he would be slotted as a 53 lock and there would be no thigpin. ginn I think could be a legendary 3-4 wr (granted that doesn't get you in the hall and isn't worth a 4) if we still had ted then you'd know you were almost never out of a game after a momentum changing drive by the other team cause teddy could take it to the house on the return. im a ginn homer, I liked him since EA NCAA 06 I think when I played them and a guy kept toasting me and I was like WTF is he, and saw his name. not worth a one, but could you imagine Wallace and Ginn on outside, landry and hartline in the middle. there would be zero help in the middle from safety. Ginn is prob 4th WR on team, he even seemed to be able to slow down or turn on afterburners to adjust to underthrown or underthrown deep passes unlike Wallace.
Vontae Davis is somehow ranked as a top CB. super maturity issues, his brother isn't the brightest either. Vontae is CB2 if he was on the team now a days. we traded him more cause of maturity and not cause of production.
Dion Jordan....you cant put him in this convo yet. his shoulder was shot and you have no clue what that might've done to his technique. I had no clue who he was, I wanted t Austin all the way, a go over the middle WR with speed, not just a track runner. the jury is still out on Jordan. I guess week 5 we'll start realizing if a full off season of being healthy and who knows what supplements help him. he was a 3-4 OLB coming out of college, we want him as a DE. lets see the conversion now that he has grown into a 4-3 DE's body, maybe he's our next JT, we gotta give him more than an injured year.
and since Lamar Millers name came up. he's not a scatback, he's a give me a hole and ill go RB. he needs to miss his first man about 3-4 yards down the field while at full acceleration to be successful. the dolphins OL did not provide that.
out of those 4 playmakers that we drafted instead of a solid pick, all 4 would make our 53.
