"Great 3 Horse Race in the AFC East" - Sean Salisbury

Ya, but one thing you arent taking into account is that they no longer have the same QB in which they made that late-season run with.. Now they have a practical rookie running the show.. that is a BIG difference, regardless of how bad you thought Bledsoe was.
the same qb that kept us from scoring more points in that run via the passing game? We were ranked 26th. Nuff said.

What has Lee Evans really proven? Moulds hasnt done anything in 2 years.. See, we can downplay your skills positions too.. Both McGahee and Evans have serious injury histories.. Your only proven dominant player on O is Moulds, 2 years removed from true success, when he had Price next to him.. McGahee I would include, but he hasnt had a full season as full-time starter..

Your D is solid, but what about the schemes? Who is your D Coord now? Is it still LeBeau coach or did he leave? Saban is widely considered a Defensive Mastermind, which would make up for any talent discrepencies.. Although I do admit we have more issues in the secondary than the Bills..
If only you could listen to yourself.

You ask what has Moulds done in two years and then you talk about what Saban has done years ago when he was w/ the browns?

Because of Moulds, Evans did better than any of your wr's other than Chambers and he was a rookie.

You ask us what Moulds has done and yet none of your wr's have done any better.

Our D-coordinator is Gray. The guy who made us no. 2 without Lebeau.

everything hinges on losman, if he can manage game, the bills will be a contender. if he falls flat on his face, they will be in trouble.

the rest of their team is good enough to compete. its losman, losman, losman.

you know what you are going to get out of mcgahee and the defense.

cant put us in the same class as the other three teams right now, we need to show something first, i'm optomistic we will, but im realistic as well. We can do it, but we have to before we can simply claim we should be included (based on what? coaching upgrades? can only count for so much in preseason rankings)

Justa.. Which QB other than Big Ben and Marino have had success in their first year? Just look at Carson Palmer.. He struggled early on, as will Losman.. And just watch Dallas.. I guarantee they win more games than the Bills do.. Even though Losman may be better than Bledsoe in the long run, he wont be this year.

Ya... Bellieve it or not I formulate a cogent argument before posting them in written form.. So I have heard myself many times over before commenting.

Get ready for a smart-@ss one-line response instead of backing an argument with facts.

We are not asking Losman to win games for us. We are asking him to manage the ball better than Drew could. :D

Patriots - Made the playoffs won the superbowl

Jets - Made the playoffs, two missed field goals away from AFC Championship

Bills - After a horrible start made late season surge and was one win away from making the playoffs. Considered one of the better teams in the AFC till they lost to the Steeler second teamers.

Dolphins - 4-12, the second worst team in the NFL record wise. Had a horrible looking line, new coaches, many many questions.

Anything can happen in the NFL. In fact Miami might win the Superbowl, that is what I am going for, however if you look at the AFC East it does seem to be a 3 way race.

Wow, where have you been?

Pats- lost 2-3 major players, lost OC, lost DC, and a few assistants I think.
Bills- Have a no one rookie green QB and haven't won since when?
Jets- QB is coming back from injury
Fins- No worse then team that won 10 games-Ricky is back, new OC, new HC, new DC, new attitude, new system, new blitzing packages, new offense, etc.

Hell, to me, it's between us and the Jets. I'd take the Jets if I had to take someone other then the Fins. The pats are done and the Bills aren't there yet. Not sure if we are, but as a fan, you have to root.

And how exactly do you come to the conclusion that he can even MANAGE a game better than Bledsoe? Like I said, his only gametime aciton last year was DISASTROUS.. That pick to the backup Patriot player was DISGUSTING... and I watched the 2004 Dolphins all year!

You and I don't know but our coaches do which is why they are coaches and we are jusr fans.

How this , by not throwing INT after INT or holding on to the ball too long and not staying in one place. Because of JP's ability to move, he opens up other possibilities w/ our O while Drew limited us from being more crative.

Neither you nor I know how JP will pan out and neither you nor I know how Gus or Feeley will panout either. What is known is that our D was recently one of the best, our RB is considered one of the upcoming rb's and our ST was ranked no. 1. Until you guys prove to be better, we have the upper hand don't we. It may not end up like that at the end of the season but fo now, even on paper we are better.
