I never disputed that the Bills might appear to be a bit better on paper, but to completely discount Miami as being in the "race" is absurd seeing as how both Miami and Buffalo have similar deficiencies and strengths.. And BTW, even though the Bills had a late season run, they didnt make the playoffs now did they? Guess what.. The Dolphins had a little late season run of their own.. and that was WITHOUT a running game (they now have) and a good coaching system (although Bates was a spark, the SYSTEM was still the garbled mess that Wanny left behind.)
 
And NFL Live is a FREAKING DISGRACE!! They are TRYING to make drama out of the Ricky situation.. They just played a quote where he answered the quesiton "Why did you come back".. and of course they used the ole media editting tactic showing only the "Why? Why?" I dont know. I dont know" part with out showing the explanation he immediately followed that statement..

ABSURD.. ESPN is a rag!

what are your PROVEN strengths that we can all base on recent facts? NONE! Not even Saban is proven and yet you think you are playoff bound compared to the rest of the AFCE teams?

Our Defense IS proven.. This is still a Top 10 unit. Our Wr Corps, for the most part, is proven as well, showing moments of brilliance in the past, and consistency and reliability in the recent past..

They couldn't stop Ralph Wilson if he was our rb. Show me some proof that your D has made the switch to Saban's system. I want proof not, opinion.

Your wr's are not better than ours. They haven't proven that in years.I also want proof that they made the switch to Linehan's system. :tongue:

Where is all this homerism bitterness coming from? Of course most analyst are going to say it's a 3 horse race....and why shouldn't they?? The Pats and Jets both made the playoffs, Buff was 1 game out. Miami won 4 games. All they are doing is basing a lot of their opinions based on last years performance.

Do I get mad when they say the Pats and Jets are a better team? Of course not. They both had better records than the Bills did last year. Until proven otherwise, that's how it's going to be.

With all the changes from the FO, coaches, players, and offensive/defensive philosophys there's a better than average chance that Miami won't do well this season. I'm not saying they are a bad team by any means but any team needs time to jell especially after all the changes that have ocurred in the off-season for the fins.

Go ahead and flame away......I'm expecting it :)

Our DTs were INJURED all year last season.. Chester is back, and we have a revamped DL with some good proven vets like Holliday and Carter.
