Maybe you should post more then? This site is 98% phin fans, there are a few regular non-phin fans and we have fun going back and forth w/ the good phin posters. If you don't like it, don't read it. It's your loss.
 
I really don't mind NYJunc here, why not get some insight on how a Jets fan feels about us? Although we have had disagreements on some things(Freeman vs Sanchez) I still respect the guy and hope to get to his post count some day. I really dont get the Jets/Yankees thing, thought it was always Jets/Mets but I'm A Dolphins and White Sox fan so I guess I don't have room to talk.
 
Anyone who thinks the Dolphins are better than the jets right now is a little delusional. As junc said, things happen and maybe the fins will end up better, but as of now the jets are clearly the better team. Even if they got worse over the offseason they are still better. Here's to hoping that changes this season.
 
To hell with Greenie, he's just pissed that Miami has basically taken a decade off and they STILL have more playoff wins, appearances, and division titles than the Jets. Hell, Buffalo hasn't won the East since 1995 or made the playoffs since 1999 and they too STILL have more playoff wins, appearances and division titles than the Jets. Jets suck, just another 2nd rate NY team like the Mets and Islanders.

Giants play in the New Meadowlands.
Jets play in the New Ghettolands.
 
At this point with all of the coverage of Jets in the national media, I'd be embarrassed to admit I was a Jets fan. Why? Because it would make you appear like just another fair-weather football fan. Same thing with being a Pats fan. Fact is, the national media coverage of both of these teams has bred an entirely new generation of fair-weather fans, including housewives and girlfriends who know absolutely nothing about the game and simply like the teams because Tom Brady and Mark Sanchez are 'hot'.

I couldn't be happier being a Dolphins fan than I am now...albeit a frustrated one. The fins fly way under the radar, get next to no coverage even when they win games, and with the exception of maybe Brandon Marshall, have a roster full of players that no one outside of real football fans even know. I loved wearing my beat up, shredded fins baseball hat during 1-15.

Arrests since our current HCs took over:

Miami: 8
NY Jets: 1



I wouldn't calle 3 of 4, 4 of 5 owning as any of those losses easily could have been wins. owning is what we did to you guys from 1998-the first game of 2008 when we went 17-4 including 7 sweeps

The reality is the Jets are an elite franchise right now and Miami is fighting to get to our level. It could happen this year, anything can happen in this league but there has been a wide gap despite Miami beating us 3 of 4 times.



That's awseome, let me know when to fire up the Delorean so we can go back to the 70s and 80s but for most of the last 10+ years the Jets have been the better franchise. Miami certainly has the better history but it's not like they have Pitt or GB's history, one SB win and we tie you and we have been much better the last decade+.



Actually 4 w/ just 2 AFC East titles but since 1995 both of us only have 2 div titles.

Unlike you I have a life that requires my attention for other things. You must be so proud though spending all of your time on a DOLPHINS fan site talking up your sorry *** jets because your own fan groups wont have you.

why would I believe that? Clearly we suck and cannot compete w/ the top teams. Obviously Tony Sparano knows what it takes to win having NEVER been part of a playoff victory.

If the Dolphins had made the championship game 2 years in a row you better believe 99% of this board would be guzzling down whatever kool aid Sparano could mix up.

I really don't understand people saying the jets suck. I hate the jets as much as anyone else, but at some point you have to realize they are a very good team. Believing anything else is denial.
