Gus connected with Randy Moss!

something i have noticed about gus i don't like is his tendancy to hang recievers out to get pummeled I saw it a couple times in the bucs game also he throws to high he obviously doesnt aim for the "numbers" as every wr he throws to has to extend themselves to catch his balls and boston had a funny look on his face after the 3rd time he burnt somebody only to have the ball overthrown! I bet if you ask Boston which qb he would want My money is on Feeley!

But if Boston was Moss he woud have had it! See thats what I mean dude, its just plain dumb to think that way. If you are a QB in the NFL and the WR has 8 steps on the defender you have to hit him, no excuse. I believe Feeley has a 2 or 3 time better deep ball than Gus. It was proven last game that Gus's sucks so lets see what Feeley got.

You expect to win with Gus? Look dude if I believed that we could win more with Gus I would be a Guskateer too. Right now I believe we have a better chance winning with Feeley than with Gus. Just think if Feeley has a good year we know we have a QB for a year or two and we could focus on other positions in the draft, if not then we will never know if Feeley was the answer. I see no point in starting Gus, he sucks IMO and he is nothing more than a one year gap till we draft a QB next year. Seems like you arent changing our mind and we arent changing yours so I dont know what to say.

whatever. I dont care anymore. Whoever gets the nod, gets the nod. I will live with the decision. I just know what will happen. It always does when the guy who looks good didnt really do much when you look at it in truth.

Sept. 11 reality hits.

Cmon now.. every dolphin QB has done that over the past 4 years. Its kind of a moot point.

Receivers are PAID to go over the middle. If you know you're going to get hit.. you might as well catch the ball.

Thats how I feel. Whoever gets the nob I will be rooting for, I just feel Feeley has more upside. If he sucks your right, but at least we know we have to draft a QB next year.

We will be getting a QB anyway you slice it. I thought we were going to draft one this year. I guess not. He wanted to build his defense first I guess.

We don't have fast recievers?

Guess what dude.....

BOTH....Boston and Chambers are faster than Moss.

Now..if you want to say that Gus sucks...that would be a more factual statement.

BTW...watching the preseason...I see CHambers behind his man VERY often...it's just the slugs throwing the ball that never get it there.

BTW...if you want to verify the 40's times.....Moss ran a 4.55 out of college....Boston a 4.30 and Chambers a 4.44.

You know...being 6-5 with a 50 inch vertical leap has something to do with the amount of deep balls that Moss catches....Size with average speed is a big advantage.....with better than average speed.....= Randy Moss.

Why was he able to come in and win the games he covered Culppeper on? Its cus he had a WR who could go downfield and get his long ball. We simply do not have a reciever like that. Boston is trying to make a comeback and Booker is more a possession type and Chambers gets double covered and cant seem to get down the field fast enough. I love our WR's but we simply do not have a fast reciever (welker maybe) who can get downfield to get his long ball. I think that is a large part of the problem.
I think you're way off on the WR thing. Chambers has excellent speed, long legs and all....Moss isn't exactly Marvin Harrison his self...I stopped counting the number of times I saw chambers two to three yards past his man on a deep crossing pattern, just for Fiedler to overthrow...speed isn't the problem my friend, it all comes down to whether or not this franchise can get a QB to hit a FREAKING deep ball...at least once in a while would make me happy.

We do have the wide recievers to stretch the field. Boston and Chambers both have or had 4.3 speed. It just needs to be some cohesivness with the offense as a whole.

It feels so good to chat with my fellow fin mates but I have to go to work at 8:00 in the morning and mother here wants me to wash dishes but I will be back tommorrow!

You need to "connect" with reality...

Welker our fastest receiver? Come on LMAO...

When you overthrow the reciever so bad that the ball isnt in the same screen as the reciever...no one will catch it. I have said it before...Gus has been in this offense for years...AJ one summer...Gus should be way more effective and he's not....

Hell just trade for Rex Grossman-i'd take an injured QB over gus...lol

Interesting.. So Gus is going to win games with accuracy below 40 and not scoring tds, unless by accident?

Well, then lets put in the guy who throws a dart. The inevidible fan fav in none other than AJ Feeley. Let it fly. Let it happen. Let it be. Let it come to fruition. I cant wait!
