Dude- it's not hating. We're not haters. You think we wouldn't love for that to happen? We're all Dolphin fans here. But there's this thing called reality that kind of interferes from time to time. You've heard of reality right?
 
I didnt know that the position "Kicker's holder" was even a position that could be filled at the pro bowl. Hey..whadaya know...learn somthin new every day!!
 
LOL Wow I love the Phins, but Gus to the Pro bowl? I will go to Hawaii and watch him if he does........

Wow- I agree. Geez, let the guy be optimistic! Trust me, Ive been an OPTIMISTIC Chargers fan since I came out of my Mother. Yes, even during the 0-12 run and finished with the 1-15 mark, I was always optmistic things would change....

And YES he does have a point..dont forget, although Drew did show he can be a QB 3 years ago, 2 years ago he stunk it up...now look what he did last year.

Wow- Im not questioning anyones loyalties to the Fins, but is it jsut me or are there a lot of people jumping off the wagon when CLEARLY, this is a rebuilding year? Did I miss something?


Houck needs 2-3 years to rebuild HIS, important word HIS - Oline. Saban with new scheme needs 2 years, he also needs to EARN THE RESPECT OF THE PLAYERS...ahhh..blahhh..nevermind.

If Gus makes the probowl...I will absolutely admit I was wrong....I will also buy a gus jersey
 
I have as big a pair of rose-colored glasses as anyone. But the only way Gus is going to the Pro Bowl is with a ticket. :up:
 
If I'm right, it'll be the sweetest feeling in the world, to see so many eat their words! If I'm wrong I am already against popular opinion, so I have nothing to lose. I love being in this position!!!

As every year begins, I am always the ultimate optimist. I see the potential, and understand the concerns we all have with the teams needs (OL, DB, etc). Yet, every year there is the team that comes out of nowhere to surprise everyone, and make a strong push into the playoffs, if not the Superbowl, (IE the Panthers 2 years ago with Delhomme at the helm).
Gus has been an effective QB in this league, and I feel has the Skills to do some great things. Unfortunately for him, and I'm sure many of us have felt the same way, he has just been in the wrong places at the wrong times, and never really been given the opportunity to really succeed. He has paid his dues, and been around the league, and will have a breakout Pro Bowl season (ala Rich Gannon). Rich himself was not considered the best of quarterbacks, until all the sudden he breaks out, and leads the Raiders to an unbeleivable season which will mark his legacy. I'm predicting Gus to have the same type of success, and turn in a season to remember for all Fin fans.

I don't think he will, but if the offensive line can give him time, he could put up decent numbers.
