Guys that Impressed Under The Radar

right now ness is a cut...nothing special about his tools...they get an injury they can resign him...you cut carroll you are giving up on high end tools too early...it won't happen...culvers a cut also...guy makes no plays...he's just there

wilson will make it cause of his blitz ability and his versatility plus his upside...they will find ways to get him involved...

Odrick had some serious penetration and broke up several plays tonight. I don't know how you didn't notice him.

I was watching an online stream that needed a lot of refreshing, plus making dinner at the same time....I missed some stuff.

come one man...they're not cutting carroll...not when he's one of the few guys they have that can play the boundary...

I agree that he CAN play the boundary...but he needs to SHOW it. Not saying he's a for sure cut or anything, but Jimmy Wilson moved ahead of him tonight, and his return ability is going to be mitigated by guys like Bush and Livas (if Livas makes the final roster), so some of his utility is wearing out.

my week 1 preseason veteran cuts are culver, polite, ness, spitler, berger, ray willis, mastrud (garbage), baker...will allen (the lockerroom shock effect cut)

these guys are all already in trouble

Understandable...from what I was watching I could hardly tell individual players from each other, the announcers in my cast just had the decency to actually say Odrick's name every time he was in there, so he was one of the few Dolphins I could actually tell was doing something.

carroll played a lot of off coverages by design...yeah he bailed too much not trusting some things but i think saying wilson moved ahead of him at cb cause he looked ok against future 9 to 5 ers is taking it too far

nate garner better pick it up also...and john jerry looks like he gained all his pre illness weight back plus a bunch...that kids frustrating me...but incog at left guards a freakin eye sore also

Interesting. This was the exact reason people were hating on Crowder. It's good if it's Edds though...

Youre obviously a Chowder lover, but anyways, Ok.. Well we dont know if Edds is Chowder part 2 yet do we??? And if he is, he needs ot be replaced, and sooner than Chowder was.. But that we will not know till, year three.

Wilson made plays. Carroll wasn't terrible, but he didn't show anything of real note. And be fair, Wilson looked better than okay, he blitzed very well, and made a great recovery play when he got beat in the endzone to deny a TD. The next game is really going to be the big tell, because those guys that looked good in the later stages of this game are going to move up the depth chart a notch and will be playing against tougher competition.

By the way, on a different topic....where the heck was Lex Hilliard? He only carried the ball twice and I thought he was competing for a RB spot? Hard to win the job on two carries....

Completely agree. Ness has one nice play but that was it. At this point in his career, Culver shouldnt be making the mistakes he made tonight. Also, that scrub (forget his name) that got the hold on the Oconnell run, should be cut tomorrow.

edds made the tackles he's supposed to make but never popped off the screen...maybe the knee injury is still not back to preform and it will take time but you need guys to read and attack the ball and the los...edds did neither...he let the plays come to him...but i admit its very early...but you want a lb to see it and attack it...not wait

None of the RB's looked good, not even Thomas (Although he looked great on that pass he caught on the sideline. He showed pretty good speed).. Probably a good 75% of that was because the OL was complete garbage. Im really at a loss for words as to how bad the OL played

that ball where wilson made a play on the ball in the endzone if the throws timely he's beaten like a mule...the throw timing was horrid

hilliard you got a point...i'm wondering if it wasn't his game to showcase more than anything else...if its not he's in trouble also...his ability though to play the fb like roll in our new offense imo gives him more value...so i think at least right now he sticks...if he doesn't get much run next game i become more concerned about him

Complete agree - what are we gonna do for guards? Carey didn't look good there. He should go back to RT. And Incognito gets zero push and can't pull. If John Jerry and Nate Garner can't help us, then I don't know where we go.

Man we should've gotten a top G in FA.
