Hard to think Bills won't be better than Miami in 2014

Hard to think the Bills wont continue to ****ing blow and finish 3rd or last in the division like they do every year.

Sure would be nice to start sweeping this ****ty team on the regular like we should if we ever want to become a great team again.

I had the same thought as the OP yesterday. Better on both sides of the line. Two RBs better than anyone on our team. A young QB who has looked good in flashes (although his injuries are very concerning). A coach who seems to have a plan and style that will win games in this division.

Sure, the Bills could underperform in 2014. But there are a lot of reasons to believe they could be the second-best team in the AFC East. If you don't acknowledge that and think the Dolphins as presently comprised or slightly better than presently comprised are good enough, then I think you are hoping more than thinking.

Bills fans are not even confident in their QB....because he is garbage.....so we have the one up in the category where it is most meaningful. Unless Buffalo has some type of Seahawks defense they will stay mediocre. Also to say Manuel was as good as Tannehill is laughable seeing as Manuel is still in single digit starts and cannot stay healthy.

yeah, bills are so much better than miami, that's why they still have a shot to make the playoffs....oh wait.

More insightful knee jerk reactions. I'm pretty sure this type of thread pops up every time we lose to the bills. And despite the dolphins medocrity over the past 10 years....the bills are far worse and will continue to be.

Just because we had a horrible game on Sunday doesn't mean the Bills are going to be better than us come 2014. The Bills defense looked like the 1985 Bears yesterday, but we just didn't execute and as the game wore on players just decided to pack it in for the day. Let's not overreact.

It comes down to QB.... everything else is simply superfluous.

If you think Tanny is a franchise QB then you have nothing to fear.

The BIlls DL was DOMINATE!!
The Fins DL with OV - WAKE - STARKS - SOLIAI - ODRICK and JORDAN should play like the BIlls!!!!
they were aggressive, fast, in your face, hit the QB, plowed the Line every play!!!

the Bills won the LOS -- won the game

Yeah, that's the way I see it as well.

It comes down to coaching. The team has more than enough talent.

If Billicheck had our EXACT same team he would get to the playoffs EVERY year

starting to think a qb controversy is starting in buffalo......little flutie or a big johnson?

They are a horrible match up for us this year. Bottom Line. We improve the Line to average NFL caliber and they will be containable from our perspective. Problem with them is they matchup well enough to get 6-8 wins but that is it. I know they beat us twice but they need to be able to do that over the whole schedule. And their good line doesn't compensate for the rest of their team across the schedule.

until they beat the Patriots, they suck worse more consistently. Its all about the record. But if you can beat Belichick, you have snatched the pebble from his hands. time for you to leave, one for jtc111.

Their coach is legit and they have some premier talent at key positions. Also a good personnel department. I certainly wouldn't discount them.

Two of the most dominant efforts I saw all season were Buffalo hosting Kansas City and the Dolphins. They blew the Chiefs game due to turnovers and poor quarterbacking but anyone who saw that game knew the components were there and that type of effort would show up again. Unfortunately, it was against us.

Manuel had weak numbers this year. But he looked like a pro quarterback out there, with more touch and field presence than he displayed at Florida State.

It comes down to the QB... If you look at the division, any division, the rankings of each team usually comes down to QB play. The Dolphins have the 2nd best QB in the division and this have the 2nd best record. Will the Bills have a better QB than Miami in 2014? I don't think so.

Bills are a tough team that will make some noise in the future, but until they find a QB, they won't be a true threat

Agreed. Just sucks we couldnt even beat those losers once. UGH I hate getting swept
