The big (and false) assumption here is that Bolden's future success was obvious to everyone except Wanny. That is obviously wrong since he lasted as long as he did. Also, I recently found two pre-draft rankings that had Moore ranked ahead of Boldin and ahead of other LBs that were drafted ahead of him.
I also found a post-draft analysis that said Miami was lucky the Moore was still available.
Drafting is not, and never will be, an exact science. Overall, Wanny was not as successful as he needed to be, but to single out one selection is absurd.
