Heads Up :: Dolphins v. Falcons Replay TODAY

Nothing wrong with that pass from Henne. Zone coverage and if he leads him more Fasano get killed by the CB. Fasano let the ball get into his body, it bounced off and was an unlucky INT for us.

now you know it was Henne's fault when Az is saying it wasn't Henne's fault lol

Everyone stated that the teams with new coordinators are at a disadvantage. And it is evident by the confusion of some of the routes. Like Hartline and that Bess INT.

Nolan Carroll can not keep up with Julio Jones. And why is Culver in there, personally, I don't think he is all that good.

Seriously, I just watched that pass to Fasano also and while the ball didn't lead him he still should have caught it.

Just a sad day when people who hate Henne will look for ANYTHING to blame him for. These are professional athletes, Fasano should have caught that.

Also to add, yes Vontae did seem to stop when the ball was snapped and thrown to Julio Jones. I put part of that blame on the lack of practice. I'd expect a mistake like that to not happen again in games two and so on.

But Fasano should have caught it, and there is no debating that.

That's a tough catch for a TE, I would say he should have protected the ball and knocked it down. But either way bad ball!

If that is a tough catch for Fasano, than I rather Epps get out there. His catch later in the game was way more difficult.

I think Odrick will be a beast for us. I say Starks will not be on the team next season. Langford, Soliai, and Odrick are the future.

Nolan doesn't play press, he plays off(really annoying) and worst than that he has a slow first couple of steps. Secondly Culver offered no kind of help on the TD

Other observations:

Carey seems to have no power, getting pushed backwards or stalemated at the line
1st team defense will be okay, they were actually getting penetration, unfortunately they also created running lanes

Gates definitely tentative on his KRs. Good thing there won't be many of those during the season.

God, aside from the first defensive series, it was a miserable, miserable first quarter.

It doesn't look natural for him, its like you can almost see him thinking.

I believe what Henne needs to eliminate is trying to touch passes into coverage. Just saw the replay and the moment I saw him pump fake and still staring Bess, i Knew it was going to be bad. He needs to eliminate that crap this season.
